The verdict on climate change from the G20 summit is in — somewhat.
After two days worth of talks in Rome, world leaders released a joint statement, agreeing "meaningful and effective" action is needed "by all countries" to prevent global temperatures from reaching more than 1.5 degrees Celsius, as previously set forth by the Paris Agreement. ...
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, meanwhile, tweeted he left Rome with his hopes "unfulfilled," though stated he welcomed the "recommitment to global solutions." UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said only 12 of the 20 G20 members committed to the 2050 pledge, adding the countries most responsible for the climate emergency have yet to do their fair share of work.
Many member states now head off for the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, which starts Monday and is set to be hosted by Johnson. ...

Why is gwobal warming always bad? Why does Diaper Joe & Odumbo both have beachfront property? How does writing a check to the gubmint “fix” it? How will we know when it’s “fixed?” Hint, it’ll never be fixed.
“...fail to give concrete goals on how to combat it”
We’ve been hearing that same old refrain for 40 years. They KNOW that you can’t meet their stupid goals of preventing 0.1 degrees rise in 100 years without destroying all civilizations.
POTUS usually in center. Had seen pics of Joe on the front row far left.
That is because it was a taxpayer-supported vacation for the pols.
Joe probably asked Macron “Emmanuel, Where should I stand? Where’s my spot?....Over There, Joe. You see that dark corner by the coat racks? WAY over there. Happy to help!”
Nothing says “I’m fighting climate change” like flying an armada of jumbo jets to Europe so you can devise new ways to tax the middle class.
There is no climate crisis.
How about renting a 400-foot cruise ship and throwing a big party, like DiCaprio?
Would that help?
Because the ocean has risen 1/10 of an inch in the last 30 years, and soon the earth will be covered with water...... How do you prove 1/10th of an inch rise?
Hence, Al Gove moves to Montecito, and lives 50’ above sea level, forgetting he moved from Tennessee where he was 450’ above sea level. Obama buys a house on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, Clintons buy a home 40’ above sea level, etc etc. The people who keep claiming something needs to be done move to the shores of the oceans. Doesn’t that seem ridiculous?
“Because the ocean has risen 1/10 of an inch in the last 30 years, and soon the earth will be covered with water. How do you prove 1/10th of an inch rise?”
or that’s it’s not inter/intra continental plate shift, even? Islands rise and fall and grow smaller from natural errosion. Shorelines change from landslides, on land and below sea, and volcanos building new land. The earth is constantly moving.
GOOD.
Make it Agenda 5050.
It’s an imaginary problem, so it will take an imaginary solution.

Over the years, most of the Business Insider news has been favoring the liberal party policies. Moreover, people also believe that those who founded the business insider belong to the democrat party.

“...fail to give concrete goals on how to combat it”
What, when, where, how. Aren’t goals the what, not the how? Or is the bazzaro world of climate planning different?
I would offer, like all news outlets, it depends on the article. This author, for instance, tells us, nothing was done, only half the participants even want to pretend to participate actively, and it’s off to the next jetset cocktail party for more of the same.
