CHICAGO -- At least 19 people were shot, four fatally, in weekend shootings across Chicago, police said.
Two men were fatally shot Saturday morning in Avondale on the Northwest Side. About 12:05 a.m., Chicago police found two men, 28 and 26, shot in the 2700-block of West Belmont Avenue, police said. The 28-year-old was found with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body, and the 26-year-old was found shot in the torso shortly after, police said. Both were taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where they died, police said. They haven't been identified yet.
Hours later, a man was fatally shot in Austin on the West Side. About 4:15 p.m., the 26-year-old was inside a vehicle in the 900-block of South Monitor Avenue, when he was stuck by gunfire, police said. He was struck in the neck and taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name has not yet been released.
A man was found shot and killed Sunday morning in Ukrainian Village on the Northwest Side. About 12:55 a.m., a man believed to be 30 years old was found on the ground with a gunshot wound to the torso in the 900-block of North Damen Avenue, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died, police said. His name hasn't been released yet.

19 shot, 4 dead. And this all happened before Devils Night, which was last evening. The night before Halloween when the rowdy get even rowdier.
We need to do something about those guns with artificial intelligence that keep seeking out people and shooting them!
I really don’t care how many people get shot in Chicago. It seems like a foreign country to me. Enjoyed my one visit there in 2001 but then I enjoyed visiting a lot of other places that I really wouldn’t pay to go back to. But we keep hearing how many get shot there like it’s something I need to know. No, I just don’t care. Stupid people banning guns for the good guys while the bad guys run rampant and are mostly shooting each other with some collateral damage to kids. And what is Lightfoot doing? Firing police who aren’t taking the blue pill? F them all.
We used to walk 1/2 mile back to the car from Comiskey park when I was a kid in the 60’s no issues. Ah, the good old days.
Pretty much the same issue that made the Braves move from Turner field to Truist park.

It’ll get worse now that they’re firing “disloyal” cops who won’t get the jab. They want it to get worse. They’ll use it as an excuse to take guns from non-violent people who don’t kill blacks on weekends in Chicago.
