Henchpersons, please. (OMG, the spell checker took that.) Consider Kamala Harris. Jen Psaki. Janet Yellen. Incompetence at this level is truly a team effort - Austin, Blinken, and Milley’s performance over Afghanistan shocked even the Taliban, for example. It would be one thing if Dementia Joe really were a marionette with a Dream Team From Hell pulling the strings but it doesn’t work if they’re all marionettes - what you get then is a pile of thrashing limbs and tangled strings, which strikes me as more than just a metaphor.
