570 divided by two years = 285 annually

canā€™t find a single video (of many) that is available to watch. all say ā€œunavailableā€, taken down by Fox. most interesting exchange I heard all week. a couple of minor typos in the transcript:

29 Oct: TheCalifornianSun: ā€˜Ingraham Angleā€™ on vaccine mandates
(This is a rush transcript of ā€œIngraham Angleā€ on October 28, 2021. This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated.)
(SCROLL DOWN) INGRAHAM: As health officials rush to vaccinate kids and shame those who do not want to do so, what about the actual numbers of child deaths? Statistician Emma Woodhouse, she took a look under the hood of the CDC data, and noticed something fishy. So while the CDC claims there have been nearly 750 deaths among the zero to 17 cohort, the National Center for Health Statistics shows just 558. Now, while every single one of these fatalities is tragic, of course, inflating the stats by 37 percent, why are they doing that? It could have major policy consequences.

Here now is Phil Kerpen, president of the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, and Dr. Peter McCullough, internist, cardiologist, epidemiologist based in Dallas. Phil, why is the risk to kids being inflated? What point does this serve?

PHIL KERPEN, PRESIDENT, THE COMMITTEE TO UNLEASH PROSPERITY: I think it does two things. One, it keeps the fear narrative and the control from the government alive a little bit longer. But two, I think, which is much more important at this point, it justifies the otherwise indefensible bad decisions that are (our) politicians and our public health officials have made over the last year-and-a-half, two years. Rather than acknowledge error, they are trying to overstate the risk and the dangers to children to justify the massive disruptions to their lives, the educational harms, the mental health harms, everything else that theyā€™ve imposed to this point.

And the director of the CDC should know that the verified death certificate-based count from the National Center for Health Statistics is the official count, and that the tracker is just whatever the states have submitted, that it gets revised all the time, that it has frequent errors. So the fact that she would pull that tracker number ā€” if it wasnā€™t deliberate deception, then she doesnā€™t know her own data really at all, which I think would be even worse.

INGRAHAM: sheā€™s one of the least convincing people in an administration chockfull of the least convincing people. Dr. McCullough, what is really disturbing, I think, is that all of the media types and politicians who are celebrating this new vaccination campaign for the young kids.
VIDEO CLIPS

DR. PETER MCCULLOUGH, MD, MPH, INTERNIST AND CARDIOLOGIST: Itā€™s what I call vaccine hubris. None of the vaccines work well enough or safe enough to be taken up in such a hubris. They are certainly not good enough to be mandated in any way, shape, or form. And parents should be aware that Tracy Hoeg from the University of California at Davis has published that a child is more likely to be hospitalized with myocarditis then be hospitalized with COVID-19 respiratory illness. So taking the vaccine is not a favorable trade-off. And Ron Kostoff has published an analysis, and these have both been presented to the FDA, that a child unfortunately is more likely to die after the vaccine then actually die with COVID-19, the respiratory illness. So itā€™s not a favorable trade-off to have children vaccinated. The American College of Pediatrics has that number you just mentioned. Itā€™s actually at 499 in their report.

INGRAHAM: Itā€™s even lower.

MCCULLOUGH: And what we know about that is that itā€™s almost always in children who have serious underlying illnesses.

INGRAHAM: And yet they are not really tracking that number and those statistics as clearly as they could be tracked. In other ways, dying with COVID, not necessarily from COVID, correct, Doctor?

MCCULLOUGH: Yes, that is exactly right. What we really need to understand, I think in Marty Makaryā€™s analysis, there was only one child in the whole country who die directly of COVID. What I know about these cases is that the children are not adequately treated. And we have great news. Weā€™ve just had a randomized child (study?) come with monoclonal antibody, there was an 85 percent risk reduction in hospitalization and death. This product has been EUA since May, and it could be used in children all the way down to age 12.

INGRAHAM: That is great news. Gentlemen, thank you...

While the numbers are hard to get to, I’ve heard from various sources that suicides in teens is up something like 300% in the last year and a half.

The young teen that lives across from us was not allowed to meet with friends (even outside) due to Covid until she was vaccinated. I can’t imagine the mental trauma due to crap like that.

Heard of another couple (no young children thank God) that went to visit their adult children. The parents spent the entire time (a week) in their children’s basement with masks, face shields and gloves. They did stand outside and spent time talking through the cracked window.

Any parent that does not dig and do their own research (thus coming to logical conclusion) and gives their child this vaccine is an idiot. Healthy children very very rarely die from Covid, most children are only symptomatic for a few days. Those that do die have other health conditions. And have to look at pre-Covid statistics because isolation screwed everything up. Children are far more likely to die from drowning, accidents, flu, any other illnesses or conditions than they are from Covid. RN here- do not believe these blatant lies!!!

...four in 10 parents with children between 5 and 11 plan to "wait a while".

So that means 6 in 10 parents are going ahead? Holy shit!

If this is true.

Why don’t they treat the children with the
proper medication?

They know what works.

But they care more about the numbers.

Push the jab.

Yep, they have lied LARGELY from the beginning.

None of their data is credible. And they keep changing their clearly failed policy. This is NOT about public health, it is about the Globalist Great Reset agenda.

Their dream of Global Fascism. NO MORE. This must END NOW.

I've written about this previously. We are seeing the fallout from an anti-individualism/collectivist mindset.

For DECADES, the family was the basic social unit. It wasn't perfect, but the family -lead by parents concerned for their children - worked exceptionally well as a learning AND social unit. In this context, Mom and Dad worked like mad to provide for and protect the kids..."don't talk to strangers"..."we have curtains because it's nobody's business what goes on in here"..."sex Ed? You will be out "sick" that day and we will go out to the range."

Johnny and Mary grew up, avoided (and maybe mocked) the radicals on campus, started their own family, and repeated their parents' denial of societal preying. The times changed but the message was the same - "if the doctor asks if we have a gun, tell him no (it's not a lie because we have twelve) and I'll find a new doctor."

Somewhere along the line (I think it was with societal acceptance of divorce), that morphed into It Takes A Village. The parents succumbed and we lost an intergenerational transfer of a GFY mindset when it came to outsider influence in the family. Now, instead of a kid wiping out on his bike and Dad telling the kid "go show your mother those cuts and scrapes and she'll fix it up" we get a child with a paper cut and "we must go to the ER."

Experts rule the home....nutritionists, child psychologists, family counselor, anti-anxiety meds (for junior and Dad, if he hasn't abandoned the family). And most of all, the clergy has been replaced by THE DOCTOR.

Now, 80MM+ Trump voters tell us that the individualism mindset IS alive and well. But an increasing number of centrists have succumbed to the siren song of collectivism. Public school is good, because it provides daycare while Mom holds three jobs. But if Johnny doesn't get the messenger RNA shot, he isn't allowed in school. It's easy to see what Mom is gonna do.

I'm prayerful that centrists wake up, and seek out that in-tact but "nutty" homeschooling family that never answers the phone when an unknown number calls, never answers the door for strangers, and ignores pollsters with clipboards at the Mall...but they have massive Christmas parties AND their kids aren't messed up, and they're not on Facebook...Whatsupwiththat?...

Until then, 4-in-10 parents hitting the pause button on their child being part of a clinical trial is about as good as it's gonna get.

Well-stated. I’ve written about that as well, but not in such detail. The only thing I’d argue against in your comment is with my own historical observations:

The nature of that effect appears to be almost exclusively with non-Conservative parents.

“Almost.”

Fair point, and you are indeed right.

I understand why conservative adults may get these shots, especially if they're in a high-risk strike zone.

But the kids...well...that's just mind-blowing.

As a sidebar on this topic, there is a subset of conservatives who have a robust, post-apocalyptic skill set. And I don't mean guns, freeze dried food and a bunker. I mean, a mindset that foremost asks "how do I AVOID the collective will?" It isn't easy...there are roadblocks, and henchmen along the way.

Take homeschooling...sure, it's legal. But in some cases you have to file papers with the district. If you don't want that, you have to move to a state like NJ which -strangely - is very accommodating. Will people move to that hell hole? And if they do, are they prepared for the familial criticism and societal bashing?

Some people mistake being vocal and out there with opinions as a condition for this mindset to thrive. On the contrary...camouflage is a key ingredient. George Carlin said the Class Clown isn't the guy who got the laughs...it's the guy who planted the jokes but, in many cases, someone else got the blame.
