The Biden administration is in talks to offer immigrant families that were separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation, according to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma.

1) This is a big pay off to illegal alien immigration lawyers
2) The money paid to the illegals will be tax free because legal settlements don’t get taxed. But their funds will becoming from the taxed money of US citizens.
3) The citizens of the US will have their $600/or $10,000 transactions spied on to make sure the illegal alien slush fund coffer is always fully funded.

So, a foreign national commits an illegal act by setting foot in this country. This country, in the process of apprehending them, separates them from other members of their family. Now, keep in mind, they illegal aliens are the ones initiating the family separation in the first place.

Then, they are granted certain perks when they get here. Food, shelter, health care, education, legal assistance - all on the dime of the United States taxpayer. They are issued an appearance ticket, which they promptly disregard.

They then contact a leftist lawyer and set up a class action lawsuit involving them and 1000 of their ‘friends’ each asking for $20 compensation. This is the justification for the lump sum payouts - to head off these cases from coming to trial.

How about all the US citizens who have been arrested and held without charge, in cruel and inhumane conditions, with no contact with their families some of whom have died in custody due to their treatment? Do they and their family get a half million dollar settlement? Last I knew, “parading” and “trespassing” was not a federal crime. Nearly 75% of them come here not to work, but to go on government assistance, some to the tune of $45,000 per year as they soak our government programs for all its worth

Prisons in places are nearly 70% illegals, at a cost of more than $145 a day (got that from an old figure years ago) per illegal on average. For every 1,000,000 illegals in prison, that alone is $145,000,000 per year.
