Made some progress, not enough. One guy hurt his back and we had to let go one welder.

Employee issues are the worst. But back at it tomorrow.
But yes, we did make it over the hump. :-)

If we didn’t have all this rain moving in, it might have been harvested by this weekend. But it’s going to get a good soaking and will have to dry out before they can take it up.

Are you talking about the left-behind cotton that blows across the road? It does tend to get blown around and make a mess of things.

Gee, I have no idea. I hope so. I forgot they were playing. LOL! I’m assuming you’re talking about the World Series?

Sorry...I’m so bad about sports.

Boy! Did it ever! It never got over about 72, and it’s 55 right now. I’m LOVIN’ it! It was a bit too breezy to leave the doors open for very long, but the sunshine kept it from feeling a bite.

How are things there? Looks like you either have rain on the way, or it’s already there. Just hope you don’t get tornadoes like they did in Orange, TX and in LA.

Nice change but I guess the wind took a little fun out of it. I hope it stays cool for a while at long last. Y’all are more than ready for a break from the heat.

The rain hasn’t reached us yet but it’ll be here soon. They say we can expect 35 to 40 mph winds overnight into tomorrow afternoon once the rain moves in. No severe storms expected though. Just that howling wind and that will be bad enough.

Well, I didn’t have to get out in it much, and it was a nice change. I even opened the doors to air out the house. And I didn’t get too hot while cleaning stuff.

I hope the high winds don’t last too long. It’ll really make that a cold rain! I’m glad you won’t be getting severe storms. Sometimes straight winds that high can be bad enough.

Oh! We had another earthquake today. a 3.2 in just about the same place as the other two. I keep thinking that spot is going to just cave in some day and become a huge sink hole.

I hope the wind didn’t blow a lot of dust into the house! That would be a drag since you were cleaning. But it’s nice to get some fresh air running through.

They say the strong winds should be with us until early afternoon but I imagine it’ll still be windy to some degree through Friday. The center of the low will move right over us. That won’t be fun for our arthritis. *sigh* I already feel the burn building now.
But we expect tree trash around the yards from the wind if it really does blow that strong. Another bonfire in store. LOL

Hmmmmm. Wonder what’s going on under that spot that’s kicking off the quakes. A big sink hole would NOT be a good thing.
