I’m sure the left is distraught over a disruption in the production of tomahawk missiles. /s

Raytheon can actually do whatever the hell it wants. What is the federal government going to do? Walk away from all of its contracts with Raytheon? Not going to happen.
But that doesn’t mean Raytheon won’t make a stupid and unnecessary decision.

the left are endangering the public by firing highly skilled surgeons and doctors for mere comments, or for refusing vaccinations- They spend many years studying, and many years of hands on experience, and the left are firing them for mere comments? And we are gonna replace them with who? Are there so many highly skilled doctors, nurses and surgeons that we can afford to fire people over nonsense at whim?

This is how government crushes business, and brings it to its knees. Once this is done, the government will have established that a business can exist only if the government allows it. A short step from that to the Holy Grail, of government ownership of the means of production.

This is really going to hurt the defense contractors. A huge fraction of the Raytheon workforce needs various levels of security clearance to even show up for the job. It can take a year or more until a new hire gets a clearance and gets let out of the security holding pen. Combine this the special skills and several years to several decades of accumulated programmatic knowledge and a lot of these people cannot be replaced in any reasonable time frame and some are defacto irreplaceable

No one, ever, should follow a leader -- even a figurehead -- who obviously has a diminished mental capacity.
And any corporate exec who can't see by now that this is all about control, not health, also obviously has a diminished mental capacity.

This guy also went on TV today to declare China is far ahead of the USA in hypersonic missile technology and implying that Raytheon is going to need $tens of billions to help catch up.
Good luck with that.

“China is far ahead of the USA in hypersonic missile technology”
Hypersonic glide body technology, maybe. Not missile technology.

I’ve heard that in general employers of large firms are assuming 10% of the workforce being gone. In Raytheon’s case that’s 12,500 people fired. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
So this year at Christmas we’ll have massive unemployment but it’s not so bad since you can’t find any presents to buy even if you were still working. But no more mean tweets, right? That’s worth it.

Biden may not care about Nat’l Security or Defence, but if you think the price of oil/gasoline is high now, just wait until 35% of the oil & gas workers stop work or quit over this fake mandate. Offshore oil workers are all ready thin with slim pickings for qualified workers (especially workers who can pass a random drug screen).
Keep your tanks full.

I hope the entire company walks in solidarity. My employer (very large) sent a survey this morning:
1) Do you think we are diverse enough? I ignored this one.
2) Do you feel like you fit within your organization? No
3) If you were offered another job at the same pay and benefits would you leave? Yes
I think employer’s are starting to see the writing on the wall.

The company is planning to comply with Biden’s vaccine orderWell, that's why he's going to lose all of those employees: instead of actually standing for principles, he's caving and forcing them to leave.
