KENOSHA , Wis. -- A Wisconsin judge laid out the final ground rules Monday on what evidence will be allowed when Kyle Rittenhouse goes on trial next week for shooting three people during a protest against police brutality, ruling he'll permit testimony from the defense's use-of-force expert and on how police welcomed Rittenhouse and others carrying guns during the demonstration.
Rittenhouse sat silently in the courtroom as his defense team and prosecutors argued the last minute motions. What both sets of lawyers can and can't say in the course of the trial was the subject of intense debate.
The 18-year-old is charged with killing two men and seriously injuring another during sometimes-violent protests in Kenosha after the Jacob Blake police shooting in August 2020. The then-17 year old patrolled the streets with an AR-15 type of weapon.
"If more than one of them were engaged in arson, rioting, looting, I'm not going to tell the defense you can't call them that," the judge said.
The judge also ruled that the two deceased men and the injured man could not be referred to as victims.
"The word 'victim' is a loaded, loaded word," he said. "'Alleged victim' is a cousin to it."

The most interesting part of the hearing is when DA Binger, the prosecutor, tries to convince Judge Schroeder that information about who was the aggressor, in a self defense case, is not relevant to the case.
The Left will be all about turning the courtroom into a circus so they can spin their narrative. If they’re not paid off or idealogues most of the other judges just get run over by a left-wing prosecutor or defense lawyer who is more expert in courtroom dramatics than the Constitution.

Yeah. According to the prosecutor, being pursued by a mob and having someone in that mob try to bash your brains in with a thick board is no justification for self defense, never mind someone pulling out a gun.
He is guilty of being on the wrong side of the riots. None of the rioters who attacked him were charged with anything.
Judge Schroeder is being very careful and precise. He knows he is up against the media establishment, the far left activists with the threats and millions of dollars, and the majority of the political establishment currently in power in Wisconsin. They are all gunning for him, hoping to catch him in the least little mistake.
So far, he has shown himself to be a brave and honorable man.
The judge needs to go back to wokeness class. We can't be prejudicing a jury by telling them what some perps were up to when they got themselves shot for doing it. This has white privilege written all over it.

If what I have read about the judge so far is close to accurate, he better have a food taster and several body guards, because the crazy lefties will be gunning for him.

I seem to remember that the owner of an auto dealership called him to come & help PROTECT the dealership.
NOWHERE did I EVER see a report of Kyle “Patrolling “ the streets.

Wil the defense be allowed to mention that the deceased and wounded were armed felons in illegal possession of firearms?
