This week on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) slammed the U.S. Supreme Court as an “extremist court” that was “out of step with the American people.”
Host Jonathan Capehart aired a clip of a Democratic Texas state representative lamenting that the Supreme Court was acting like abortion was “an issue that we need to vacillate over.”

Elections have consequences.
Damned shame Warren wasn’t aborted.
Part of the right wing cabal no doubt. Back to your hogan assclown. Which tribe again? The Fugawee tribe?
Oh, how I wish the SCOTUS were as right-wing as it is in the fevered imagination of the leftist/media establishment.
Sadly, we have maybe three genuine conservatives, a couple of timid moderates, and they’re all led by a treacherous Chief who lacks any sort of consistent judicial philosophy other than his own opportunism.
She considers overturning Roe v. Wade as "extremist" but murdering millions of children is not?
First, I have no illusion that the current SCOTUS will overturn Roe
Second, since when is defending life that is innocent extremist?
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) slammed the U.S. Supreme Court as an “extremist court” that was “out of step with the American people.”
***That happened in 2008 when SCOTUS refused to do their job and determine the constitutional requirements of Natural Born Citizen, which definition had been held for more than 200 years as ‘born on US soil to 2 US citizen parents’. When SCOTUS told the entire country that NONE of us had standing in Berg vs. Obama, that was the official changing of this nation into an oligarchy. It is very similar to the historically accepted threshold when Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon river and started the Roman civil war, thus ending the Roman republic and starting the Roman Empire.
The reason why SCOTUS is given lifetime appointment is so they can be protected from the political ramifications of their decisions, but they regularly BASE their decisions on political ramifications. In particular, they have inserted their voice where it was clearly states’ rights issues such as abortion but here they REFUSED to do their job when it was obviously theirs to do.
Glad to be out of step with the people who take the extreme position that killing babies is a normal and good thing. Abortion is evil. Warren is evil.
Have you ever considered that is the BABY KILLERS who are the "Extremists"?
Nothing about the extremist court that read between the lines to invent the concept of abortion as a right.
...because the right to murder one’s children is right there in the Constitution. /s
On the contrary, it is not. In fact, the Tenth Amendment states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
Nowhere does the Constitution say that Supreme Court must base their rulings on what’s in “step with the American people.”
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
Sen. Warren needs to be on the short list of senators who would make the best poster child for why the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A) should never have been ratified imo.
More specifically, Sen. Warren seems to be clueless to the fact that, in stark contrast to the rights that the early states famously expressly protected in the Bill of Rights, it remains that the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect the murder of unborn children as a right.
In other words, Constitution-ignoring activist justices confirmed by misguided, post-17A senators like Warren wrongly established the politically correct right to murder unborn children.
Insights welcome.
The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big, Democratic-pirated federal and state governments oppressing everybody under their boots...
Consider that all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.
Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.
Federal and state candidate lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states that is limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.
Again, insights welcome.
Liz Warren is a lying fake Indian who used a made-up minority biography to get special government discounts to college and jobs.
Investigate, charge, try and sentence her.
Guessing SCOTUS shouldn’t have overturned the issue of separate but equal or if slaves were people.
An ‘extremist court’ according to a Marxist is indeed accurate.
Just in time for Halloween.
Seems odd to me that anyone would take a position calling a group that MAY make a move to preserve life “extremist.”
