I don't see anyone saying that one will not die if vaccinated, just that they aren't as likely to die now if vaccinated and that seems to call for Captain Obvious.

(CNN)People who got Covid-19 vaccines were not only less likely to die from the virus, but they were less likely to die from any cause over the following months, researchers reported Friday.
The research team was trying to demonstrate that the three authorized Covid-19 vaccines are safe and they say their findings clearly demonstrate that.
"Recipients of the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or Janssen vaccines had lower non--COVID-19 mortality risk than did the unvaccinated comparison groups," the researchers wrote in the weekly report of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Well, this “study” would count those vaccine deaths as unvaccinated if the person dies after the first dose.

But this article is making it out to be magic and covid vax saves you from all kinds of things. I guess they are claiming it jump starts your immunity..but ..uh..could it jump start auto immune diseases

Yep. Kaiser has a massive database of patient information. A real analysis would simply query the database for patient deaths in the last year, then separate them into groups of unvaccinated, partially vaccinated and fully vaccinated.

For others...just because first line blood tests are the same....mine are...doesnt mean everything is fine
In my case...it took an extreme event to get them to pay attention to what i had been stating...they kept telling me the front line markers were fine.

It would be simple to find out but CNN probably worries it won’t give them the new narrative they want.
Excluding Covid, all people are dying at the same rate from the same things people died of in 2019 and thousands of years before.
But that doesn’t sound dramatic enough for CNN and it’s true.

That’s a falsehood because it does provide some protection.
If your standard for being a vaccines is 100% protection, then there has never been a vaccine since breakthrough infections happen with every known vaccine. BTW, can you name two or three vaccines that do not require boosters to maintain their protection?
Wrong! The article clearly claims that getting the Jab will not only protect against getting sick and possibly dying from COVID - No, it will also lower the risk of dying of anything else!
The claim is that it lowers overall mortality.
Which I find quite implausible!

Maybe we have confirmation bias due to this being CNN but i read it as them trying to claim it is a magic vax for all kinds of diseases
