The Trump Organization will face a criminal investigation regarding its financial dealings surrounding a New York golf course.
The Westchester County district attorney's office has subpoenaed records from Trump National Golf Club Westchester and the town of Ossining, which determines property taxes for the course, The New York Times reported.
The Times reported that the investigation will focus on whether the Trump Organization misled officials regarding the course's value in an effort to pay less taxes on the property.

Once again with the real estates values thing - if Trump says the property is worth $20 million and the county says it’s worth $25 million, the county has the final say.
If Trump says to a potential lender that he thinks the property is worth $30 Million, it is up to the bank to determine the final value of the property approving a loan.

go into a NY-DMV to register a car you say it was given to you(bill of sale says gift) the FIRST thing they do is get the Kelly Blue Book page up for your make/model and THEY will determine the tax you’ll pay to register it.
