Nooooo!!!!!!!!!
Was going to order my fresh Thanksgiving turkey from the local farmer. $75.00 for a 18# !!! maybe a brined fresh Butterball this year?
Wasting away in Bidenville....
I just found a local farmer who sells individual cuts of beef and pork and also whole chickens and some of it cheaper than the grocery store. I have a meat goat buckling I could put in the freezer if I need to and will likely have up to four more next year. I’m wanting to get a breeding pair of small pigs soon. Got a ton of heritage variety garden seeds will am going big on that next year as well. Fruit trees also.
Screw this broken system. I’m opting out.
bugs are yummy. its coming
I dunno which is rising faster, gasoline or meat. I thi k they are competing to out pace each other. When Biden stole the election, gasoline was $2.16 around us, it just went up again today, and is now $3.55 a gallon, ourse steaks that used to be around d $7 are now going for $15, hamburger is now as much as steak used to be almost
Then there is the “shrinkfation” going on, get less, pay more. Used to get 16 ounces, the 12 ounces then 10,ounces for things. And prices just kept going up while, product weight went down.
I havsn t bought a 16 ounce soda in a convenience store for years, getting mine onsale in 24 packs instead. Awhile, back was on the road and thirsty,, so stopped to get one- I was speechless when the clerk told me it was 0ver $2.00, and the small single serfe bags of chips now- also over $2.00
But that wasn’t even the worst,, one day I stopped to get some KFC, I wanted 3 pieces, some fries, and a small drink. The clerk told me that will be $22.30 or something like, that. I said “are you serious” she shook, her head and said “I know, but the price had really gone up lately” I said “sorry, but I can buy 4 chickens for that price practically, cancel my order. (I haven’t checked the price of uncooked chicken in awhile in grocery stores, so,maybe I can’t anymore, I dunno- I do know I can buy one already cooked for about $6 though)
This country is headed in a very bad direction. Once prices go up, they very rarely go back down. I remember the price of things like a bag of chips going way up, the gave some lame excuse back then, and said “it’s only temporary”... yeah, no! The prices never went back down cereal too. Kw even bread is climbing quite a bit
No problem, it’s transitory and only a high class problem.
Shut up and eat your goo peasants!!!
Just 12%? Liars. Beef had doubled from before covid.
I have the meat oh wait I can’t say that.
Impossible. My 4 pack of hotdogs was 16 cents cheaper then the steaks I was buying last year.....
