Maybe we should mourn that the glaciers that once covered Chicago are gone.....

Finally, Hemmingway’s riddle of the leopard is solved!
He climbed to the permanent snows at the top of Kilimanjaro to get away from the idiot ecowarriors!

goes to show that it isn’t green house gases, but land mass that causes glaciers to melt...
and that big old ball in the sky heating it up...

If these glaciers are that rare, they were probably caused by global cooling.

Step 1: Issue a dire prediction for sometime in the future.
> Africa will need investments of over $3 trillion <
Step 2: Ask for lots of money.
All that’s missing is Step 3: Stern lectures from worthies like Al Gore, Greta Thunberg, the Pope, etc. But maybe that will come later.

That’s okay, we may lose the rare African glaciers, but we’ll still have well done African glaciers.

The glaciers melting had NOTHING to do with climate change. The locals harvested the trees off the mountain causing the warm winds to run up the mountain which caused a lot of the ice to melt.

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — Africa’s rare glaciers will disappear in the next two decades because of climate change, a new report warned Tuesday amid sweeping forecasts of pain for the continent I am sure they are lying.

The last glaciers around me disappeared about 16,000 years ago when the Indians started burning coal to run their casinos.

Al Gore in 2006... “The snows on Mount Kilimanjaro will be gone within the decade.”
The real inconvenient truth???
Mount Kilimanjaro still has snow on it’s top and that snow will be there long after you, I and Al Gore have passed from this earth.

We went to Amboselli National Park in Kenya a few years ago.The park is close to Mount Kilimanjaro and it’s easily seen from everywhere in the park. While we were there (February) there was very little snow on the summit. But it does seem possible that the amount of snow varies throughout the year despite it being very close to the equator.
