Four is a very low number for all the people taking it.
It’s also hard to pin down exactly what does cause problems.
Was it really this medication?
Does sound like they found high levels that weren’t supposed
to be there, so they could truly be onto something too.

Used to take Valsartan for years, but they banned that for a negligible amount of a carcinogen. (You get way more of that in a single hamburger than you’d get in a years worth of pills
Then, Irbesartan, which worked well
But recently they put me on Losartan, which works almost too well. Gets too low sometimes

I take 10 mg of Lisinopril daily for blood pressure. It’s been around for many decades and is proven safe and effective.
