CHINA has reportedly placed its military on "high alert" as state controlled media warned Taiwan of a looming "doomsday" amid fears of invasion.
Beijing and Taipei are feared to be sitting on the brink of a conflict which could end up drawing in the US and potentially spiralling into World War 3.
Both sides have traded barbs - and now China has issued some of its most strongly worded threats to date as it vows to "reunify" with the separatist island that has claimed independence since 1949.
Chinese defense ministry spokesman Tan Kefei described Beijing's military as an "high alert" and "ready to fight any time", according to Communist Party controlled newspaper The Global Times.
And he fired back at the US who accused China of destabilising the region by carrying out military drills which are seen as squarely aimed at Taiwan.
Dozens of warplanes have been buzzing the island's air space and mass beach landing operations have been carried out in exercises that are widely seen as rehearsals for - or at least threats of - a full scale invasion.
Tan reiterated that Taiwan belongs to China and accused the US of "confusing white with black" over the issue - pledging that "external interference" would be beaten back.

Who the hell admitted he committed treason -- twice -- kowtowing to the People's Liberation Army to directly disclose American military preparedness to China's military leadership, using as his excuse, "Chinese military on alert"? Gen. Mark Milley.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff appeased a Communist military for the explicit purpose of embarrassing the sitting President of the United States, the leader of the Free World.
Who in their right mind would even doubt for a moment that Milley will pre-negotiate the surrender of Taiwan? The freaking script has already been rehearsed! He wasn't punished, he was re-hired by the puppet-state! What planet are you living on?

Taiwan has had 75 years to get its sh!t together. Set demolitions on all chip manufacturing buildings and aim ballistic missles at Shanghai and 3 Gourge Dam. China would bleed beyond recovery. When the Chinese invade, blow up he chip building and give them nothing, but take everything from them. Hope the population is well armed. Mutual destruction.

Taiwan -OP, modeled on Korea’s K-POP culture is great stuff. The soap operas are upbeat and wholesome for people raising families everywhere. Never any political BS - just people living their lives with a nice and happy ending.
China only sees the big picture and has had success with their Movie Cinema. Everything in China is about grandeur furthering the “State”. I love their movies and soaps. Imaginary worlds of super powers, etc.
China want Taiwan intact. Taiwan just wants to be “LEFT the Frick Alone”.
