Aspirin lowers risk of COVID: New findings support preliminary Israeli trial

The treatment reduced the risk of reaching mechanical ventilation by 44%. ICU admissions were lower by 43%, and an overall in-hospital mortality saw a 47% decrease.

Over-the-counter aspirin could protect the lungs of COVID-19 patients and minimize the need for mechanical ventilation, according to new research at the George Washington University.

The team investigated more than 400 COVID patients from hospitals across the United States who take aspirin unrelated to their COVID disease, and found that the treatment reduced the risk of several parameters by almost half: reaching mechanical ventilation by 44%, ICU admissions by 43%, and overall in-hospital mortality by 47%.

“Panels also say mammograms and PSA tests are not really that important.”

Some panels, also, don’t recommend annual regular blood tests to check you out.

We lost 1 family member and 1 acquaintance YTD, due to them developing adult onset leukemia and not knowing it until a blood panel test was finally done.

yeah...ain’t it great? Like we can’t see through the b.s. After literally decades of recommending an aspirin a day for prevention, suddenly a new ‘study’ says it doesn’t help; coincidentally after another study indicated an aspirin a day has helped with c19.

“A drug used to treat inflammation in dogs!”

Aspirin (Acetaminophen) is very dangerous for dogs and can kill cats.

I’ve taken a 325 grain tablet daily since 1983.
I have 3 bottles of tablets (1000 per bottle). That should do me for the next 8 or 9 years.

They'll issue special warning that you might bleed to death if you take aspirin because it's a blood thinner. It may also eat your innards.

Anything to keep people from using proper treatment.

How are they going to murder us with all of these irritating helpful drugs out there. The whack a mole must continue until mortality numbers improve.

I had the opposite experience.

I have had 3 strokes caused by high blood pessure. (220+)

Also I have had several collapses from dehydration.

The last collapse I was set to a cardiologist who wanted to put me on a blood thinner, called coumadin.
I said as an old timer (86) that coumadin is rat poison to me ,and besides I am already on a blood thinner called Plavix.
I ended up still taking Plavix, and also being put on a chewable low dose aspirin. - Tom

In 1918 Pandemic, Another Possible Killer: Aspirin

The gymnastics and contortion to attempt to keep the population stupid is awe inspiring. Anything that would help obviate the alleged need for the Death Jab, must be destroyed.

Aspirin is also associated with a lower incidence of some forms of cancer.

The only reason why aspirin was a killer was that it was a new drug and not many knew who to dose it in ways that it didn’t cause bleeding and toxicity. Aspirin actually saved a lot of lives due to reduction of fever and a reduction in in the immune overdrive that damaged the lungs of many young people. Aspirin has been used safely when used correctly since that early 1917-1919 pandemic in other flu and infectious disease outbreaks. It can cause guillian barre in kids 12 and under and knowing who it might strike was a crap shoot so it’s use for kids under 12 is discouraged.

Aspirin gets a bad rap. All NSAIDs really have their uses and trade offs. Tylenol, too!...By and large if you follow the instructions and monitor for bruising or gastric issues these meds should be okay.

My husband got vaccinated way back because his neurologist told him he should because of his MS - he is regretting that decision and will Not be taking boosters. But I had read about the blood clotting so I suggested low dose aspirin - which he has been taking - now finding out that it is helping with vaccine side effects as well.

You are correct I should have said acetylsalicylic acid. I have a jar of Acetaminophen in my cabinet and it is the first thing which came to mind.

In any case Aspirin is not good for dogs and can cause internal bleeding according to my Vet.

Thanks for the heads up.

I take a 325 mg aspirin every day. It causes internal bleeding in me

A wrap or knock on my arms or hands results in a purple spot or bruise

I wear gloves with long leather gauntlets to prevent such bruising discoloration

Aspirin has many many benefits that outweigh the bruising
