Of course not. What a silly question. They are merely “testing” all of those military planes. Nothing to worry about.
They may as well skip Taiwan and come directly here.
They can come in-force through the southern border and be flown or bused to all the states for free and under the Biden Administration they’d be paid to do it and get free healthcare.
Of course Tiawan is .....sheesh China has always viewed Taiwan as simply unfinished business. Like Hong cong....
Over 90% of China’s population lives on their Eastern Coast. Tiawan is a huge rock getting in their way of controlling the Sea lanes.
No. China has no social safety nets of any kind, and mass casualties would leave a swath of their population to starve without their one-child policy male bread-winner, and would threaten the existence/legitimacy of the CCP itself.
China is desperate to distract their population from the perils of a declining economy. Telling people to prepare for war and to ‘give up comforts’ is a typically Chinese Communist way to excuse the failures of the planned economy to deliver such ‘comforts’ like food, energy, jobs, and hope.
China is in decline and the feckless and unprincipled bandits who run the country know that their day is coming. Just as we saw with the Soviet Union so too will China rapidly and suddenly collapse from the rot within their corrupt government and a culture that has been robbed of what it means to be Chinese.
Taiwan is a distraction and the CCP hopes that Taiwan will surrender and give them an esay victory. Because the truth is that they have neither the ability nor the resources to invade Taiwan. The best the CCP can do is wreck Taiwan and in doing so China will become a pariah state.
With foreign trade halted and embargoes laid down against them the Chinese people will be unemployed in the hundreds of millions. The energy they depend upon to feed themselves and warm themselves will be cut off.
And then the Chinese people who have been trained for generations not to care for each other will not hesitate to murder their neighbors for precious crumbs of food or for wooden furniture to burn.
In all seriousness, China is a house of cards that is about to fall and the foul wind that issues from the CCP and that Xi Zhang retard of a President they have will surely knock it down.
Let China attack Taiwan. The sooner they do then the sooner the CCP will find themselves slaughtered at the hands of a vengeful, selfish, people.

If the US goes into recession and huge shortages this winter China might go ahead and attack while our people are bogged down with just trying to survive and no longer concerned about Taiwan.
A few years ago a dorky young guy I knew visited the glorious vacation spot China.
Although a leftist and enamored of Marxist ideas he told me “One thing there is they have lots and lots of people who see things rock videos or movies and they want them but can’t have them. They get impatient being on the low end of the world’s wealth. Someday something is going to happen over there started by all those people who want things.”

The chinese will send a sampan navy with 10million “internal migration” civilians armed with CNN uplinks, cameras, and bullhorns. When they get mowed down by our side, the resulting negative PR will be amplified by the chinese knocking out 2 of our aircraft carriers in the blockade with their hypersonic ICBM thermally guided antiship missiles.
America will luze stomach for the fight over what it already calls an internal province of China. Taiwan has never declared independence.
About a third of civilians in Taiwan are ethnic Chinese and maybe only half of them have loyalties and fifth column tendencies towards communist China. They have hundreds of thousands of cargo ships they can fill with civilians armed with cameras, CNN uplinks, and bullhorns.
The resultant slaughter will be live on CNN and the PR backlash will be enough to let China walk right back into their own internal (never did declare independence) province. If we blockade them, they’ll lob thermal-capable antiship ICBM missiles at our aircraft carriers and CNN will record them sinking to the bottom of the sea with the resultant nuclear plume.
America will luze stomach for the fight after luzing a couple $Trillion in carriers and tens of thousands of men in one afternoon, all seen on CNN, with our recourse being... to slaughter civilians. China has all the cards, they just have to lay them down on the table at this point.
And when it’s all over but the shouting, the RINOs and GOPes and democraps will be handwringing, hoping for a quick way to order chinese chips & electronics from Amazon. The chinese want the continued business of globalists so it’ll all be “can’t we just get along” and “water under the bridge” as soon as China is in charge and chips are shipping.

Destroying the independence of Hong Kong was the worst financial decision the CCP ever made. Their economy IS a stack of cards. And they've disenfranchised the enterpreneurs like Joe Ma who have given them whatever prosperity they achieved. But there's another instability factor in the mix. The resolve of the United States to respond to a Taiwan attack is now questionable. I hear Xi Jingping the Covid King is whispering, "Let's Go Comrade Biden!" |

If this technology is somehow destroyed during the invasion, then it would be less beneficial to China. A poison pill. Of course, supply chain chip shortages would become even worse and all things technology in the world would be severely hindered. Maybe that is Taiwan's bargaining chip.

I worked and lived in China 9 months out of the year beginning late 2010 for almost 3 years.
One Chinese colleague became a good friend. Their parents had survived the The Great Famine under Mao from 1959 to 1962.
Publicly speaking about the famine is banned in China. Peasants couldn’t feed themselves or their children, and babies / young children were most often tose who died.
They would NOT eat their own dead (usually). But they would trade their dead to another family. And people would also dis-enter the recently buried, likewise to eat from their bodies.
This is a horrible and ugly truth.
Of course, it doesn’t look like Mao missed many meals - or Xi for that matter.
