Former President Trump is urging Republicans not to vote in upcoming elections unless the “fraud” of the 2020 elections is uncovered.
“If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in ’22 and ’24,” Trump said in a statement released Wednesday. “It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.”
Trump’s claims of a “rigged” election also depressed voter turnout during the Georgia Senate runoff elections on January 5. Georgians elected two Democratic senators as a result, giving the party 50 total Senate seats.
Trump has repeatedly claimed, without evidence, that President Biden lost the election due to fraudulent voting practices. While Trump claimed that he won the states of Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania at a rally in Iowa on Saturday, Biden won each of those states.

DJT never said that Republicans should stay home. He does recognize that people who KNOW election fraud is going to be allowed, have a mindset that depresses the voter turnout.
This statement sounds more like a warning to the Pubbies sitting on their hands doing nothing about fixing the election system to prevent fraud—that there will be adverse consequences.
He goes around the country endorsing candidates. If he wanted people to stay home, he would plainly say don’t go vote—and he wouldn’t be endorsing anyone.

Was there likely a sizable degree of voter fraud in which the election was stolen in 2020, or do you believe Biden won and it was a fair election?
What assurances do we have that corrections have been made to ensure election integrity? If there are please name them. If nothing has changed, is that acceptable?
Has the gop establishment fought to ensure fair elections, or fought against those that seek fair elections?
Do you believe the election results in 2022-24 will be trustworthy and relatively free of fraud? Or is it acceptable to have another election outcome like we did in 2020? Will that restore trust in elections? Will another stolen election restore America?
If now is not the time to DEMAND an honest election, then when is the correct time?

It sounds like he’s not “urging” anything but rather predicting that Republicans won’t vote unless they assure the election will be honest — and linking that to revising the 2020 results. That’s not good advice, but it’s not what the headline says.
