Michael Vick killed dogs for sport and was heralded by the National Football League. Richard Sherman is playing right now after being arrested for domestic violence, one of dozens of players who did not lose their jobs over actual violence against women. Jon Gruden sent private emails that equated to thought crimes and will never coach in the NFL again.
This encapsulates America today in which breaking “woke” rules is far more serious of a crime than committing actual violence. As Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh posted earlier on Facebook:
Richard Sherman was arrested for domestic violence this past summer. He is currently playing for the Bucs. Jon Gruden used vulgar language in private emails several years ago. He is now out of a job. If you think this is about simple “accountability,” you’re a moron. Nobody was a victim of Gruden’s vulgar comments in his private emails. The people who received the emails didn’t care. Nobody else knew about them. Nobody was hurt or even offended. Call it what it is: Gruden is getting canceled for thought crimes.
The thought police have embraced cancel culture in a way that promotes their Neo-Marxist agenda. There’s no other way to look at this. Jon Gruden learned this the hard way by sending private emails to people that included thought crimes against protected classes. He had the nerve to go after Joe Biden. Had he been “exposed” for sending mean emails about Donald Trump or complaints about straight white males, he would still have a job today.
The backwards tenets of Cultural Marxism demand his excommunication from the NFL just as they demand the cancelation of any conservative who voices opinions against the progressive rot we’re seeing in America today...

Complet double standard on the NFL’s part. Guess who going to perform during the Superbowl? Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg
Some of the worst homophobic, racist, and misogynistic lyrics by a group you’d find anywhere. And they rapped publicly to millions of people. Gruden had an expectation that his emails would be private, stupid, but the truth.
For example, read Dr. Dre’s ED-Ucation Lyrics (the first song I looked up by him). No way can they be posted on a site with civility.

Not to mention the Ravens’ defensive player (forget his name or his position, not important) who literally got away with murder some years back.
Never include “homophobia” in such company. It slanders concepts like race, ethnicity or sex to count perversion as in any way as worthy of consideration and respect as those are. Homosexual acts should have always remained illegal. “Ask, Tell” was the way to go.
If you have to cite that to point out any hypocrisy then let it be listed separately in an if anyone cares side comment.
Ray Lewis. Not only that he is in the hall of fame. He didn’t get convicted of murder but he plead guilty to obstruction of justice. Two guys were murdered but nobody was convicted.
Richard Sherman...techncially they called it domestic violence but he got drunk, drove, hit a construction sign, realised where he was and tried to get into his in-laws, and used “violent language”. Now, drunk driving is serious, as is trying to break down your in-laws door while drunk and screaming obscenities, and technically fleeing the scene of an accident. Now that is going to lead to some uncomfortable family time for sure, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to be strained for sure. Domestic Violence though? As some idiot is fond of saying “C’mon Man!” (Let’s go Brandon)
Then calling it “actual violence toward women”, nope. It’s bad enough as it is, but calling it something it clearly isn’t doesn’t help the argument.
Another reason not to pay attention to the NFL.
I was listening to the sports radio on the way back from the store. I have never been so embarrassed to have ever been a sports fan than I was during a short conversation that ensued.
The analysis was that it was the NFL that leaked out the supposedly racist trope (I believed it was called) about big lips on a player. When that didn’t create the desired effect of getting Gruden out of the League, the NFL brought up the latest things about calling the Commissioner a Pussy, and some other guy a pussy, and complained about purposely trying to find homo players to break that barrier.
In short, this HAD to come from on high within the League, probably Goodell, HE wanted Gruden gone.
Then they compared Gruden to Colon Kraperdik, in that Gruden wasn’t blackballed, but Colon was definitely kept out of the league.
If that wasn’t enough, they weighed in on Kyrie Irving wanting an exemption from the vaxx. The guy actually said, even if he wants a religious exemption, the judge of that would be like, in this State, the Governor. He gets to determine whether or not your religion is exempt from his mandates.
This conversation happened in about 10 minutes of time. The ignorance drips from these idiots talking sports.

There’s truly a sliding scale when it come to who infracts what.
Loving something that despises you corrodes the soul. Find another hobby because it will be a decade or more before anyone normal would want to watch the NFL or give them a dime.
Fortunately, being a Lions fan makes it easy to walk away from the NFL, but it’s still amusing to see which wheels-off way they lose every week.
