I was listening to the sports radio on the way back from the store. I have never been so embarrassed to have ever been a sports fan than I was during a short conversation that ensued.
The analysis was that it was the NFL that leaked out the supposedly racist trope (I believed it was called) about big lips on a player. When that didn’t create the desired effect of getting Gruden out of the League, the NFL brought up the latest things about calling the Commissioner a Pussy, and some other guy a pussy, and complained about purposely trying to find homo players to break that barrier.
In short, this HAD to come from on high within the League, probably Goodell, HE wanted Gruden gone.
Then they compared Gruden to Colon Kraperdik, in that Gruden wasn’t blackballed, but Colon was definitely kept out of the league.
If that wasn’t enough, they weighed in on Kyrie Irving wanting an exemption from the vaxx. The guy actually said, even if he wants a religious exemption, the judge of that would be like, in this State, the Governor. He gets to determine whether or not your religion is exempt from his mandates.
This conversation happened in about 10 minutes of time. The ignorance drips from these idiots talking sports.
Find a black player who has not called a white: honky, redneck, cracker, etc., and you will find a liar.
The coach should sue Goodell and subpoena his NFL emails.
The PC Adam Schein who I listen to on Sirius was all about the firing.
