Nikki Haley, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, has been named to Clemson University Board of Trustees.
Haley, who served as South Carolina governor before becoming former President Trump’s envoy to the U.N., will replace retiring member David Wilkins. It’s one of seven lifetime appointments on the 13-member board.
“Ambassador Haley’s love of country, leadership skills, commitment to education, and passion for Clemson University will serve the Board well. She will be a tireless advocate for the University and all of its constituents,” Kim Wilkerson, the board’s chair, said.

“Lifetime” only means the lifetime of your usefulness. SJW attacks can greatly curtail your lifetime.

Anybody accepted by academia is HIGHLY SUSPECT.

Let Clemson and their fans be unhappy with Dabo. Lots of Bama fans dread the day Saban decides to retire and hope that whenever that day comes, Dabo will hear “Mama call”.

How is it a lifetime seat if Wilkins was allowed to step down?
A lifetime of all expenses paid monthly meetings in five star resorts.
The most difficult thing about that job would be having to interrupt one’s schedule to attend an emergency Trustee’s conference call, or in today’s lingo, a zoom meeting.
And all is good as long as they all abide by the rule, go along to get along.
And it comes with a honorary set of knee pads.
I think Dabo is likely staying right where he is, with the ACC regressing him back down to the conference mean. Unless they get things turned around, Mama might not call. He’s a good guy, but they have problems. Offensive coordinator has probably gone past his sell-by date.
Just another person who noticed the article left the “P” out of Clempson. :)
