The State Department has walked back comments made last week that the Biden administration is engaged in strategic talks related to “Palestine.”
The State Department’s spokeswoman, Jalina Porter, to whom the report referred to as “controversy-prone,” mentioned at a press briefing last week that officials were engaged in talks with Palestinian officials “surrounding Palestine” – a nonexistent state.
“Any time that we engage on issues of, surrounding Palestine they are strategic,” she said.
The report noted:
Porter’s reference to “Palestine” would represent a monumental shift in decades of U.S. policy regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The State Department’s longstanding policy, upheld across multiple administrations, is that “Palestine” refers to the conditions on the ground prior to Israel’s creation in 1948, and that any new nation called “Palestine” will have to be forged in direct negotiations between Israel and its Palestinian neighbors.
“There is no change to our policy,” said a State Department spokesman. “We believe that a negotiated two-state solution is the best way to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. ”
According to the report, Porter’s frequent blunders are causing consternation in the administration.
“She often goes off script from established policy and agreed upon talking points, causing gaffes that confuse allies and journalists alike. Career State Department staff have grown increasingly frustrated, as we are often the ones having to clean up after her verbal messes.”
In May, Porter criticized Israel as tensions rose with the Palestinians during an 11 day conflict with Gaza. The State Department later walked back those comments.

Porter was also criticized in the past for calling police “terrorist cops.”
Len Khodorkovsky, former deputy assistant secretary of state during the Trump administrationm said, “The State Department’s deputy spokesperson should know that language matters, especially in diplomacy. There is a reason the State Department does not call Judea and Samaria ‘Palestine.’ Those territories are disputed and their final status should be resolved by the parties involved, not by the deputy spokeswoman.”
Khodorkovsky also said there is “no formal strategic dialogue between the United States and the Palestinian Authority,” as Porter claimed.
She said the thing she’s not supposed to say. Gave the game away. I think we are in negotiations now to give away some of Israel’s land. I imagine Israel will be annoyed with us when they find out what we’ve been doing behind their back. Oh, well. Everybody hates the Jews, right?
There’s no such thing as “Palestine.”
In a 2016 Facebook post, Porter wrote that U.S. cops posed the largest national security threat, greater than that of both Russian hackers and ISIS, because of killings of Black Americans.

… Indeed, the purpose of opening the consulate is to recognize Palestinian claims to Jerusalem. If the PA has no legitimate claim to Jerusalem, there can be no reason to have a consulate there.
To be sure, this is why opening the consulate is the main Israel-related policy demand of radically anti-Israel Rep. Ilhan Omar.
Point of fact, former US Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro made clear before the last US election that opening a separate consulate to the Palestinians would be designed to signal US support for a Palestinian capital in that city...
So leave since you hate America so much and go to that fairyland called Palestine.
She was just getting a little ahead of herself abut the near future.
To Jews who voted for Biden (60.6%) instead of Trump (40.5%) November, 2020:
Although you secular or Reform Jews have little interest in the State of Israel, it will be a different and more dangerous world if there is no Jewish state someday. No Entebbe Raids, no one to demand rights of Jews against any oppressors. No country as a haven if things get into expulsion of Jews territory again. Most countries would quickly say no to being a place for Jews to be refugees.
The Rashida Tlaibs and AOCs will be in power then.
A much worse world.
Jalina Porter, deputy spokesperson for the U.S. State Department under President Biden, said she should have “chosen words that were less passionate and spur-of-the moment” after her 2016 Facebook post claiming the “largest threat to U.S. national security are U.S. cops” came to light.
“Comments I made five years ago on my personal Facebook account as a private citizen were in response to the uncomfortable – and deeply painful – truth of race-based violence in America that has continued ever since,” Porter said in a statement on Tuesday. “The pain I expressed was real. Nevertheless, I should’ve chosen words that were less passionate and spur-of-the moment, as well as more constructive.”
“I, of course, know well that not all law enforcement officers pose a threat to our community. Today, I am proud to stand as the State Department’s first Black woman Deputy Spokesperson, a position that affords me an opportunity to be part of the ongoing conversation regarding nationwide equity and inclusion, as we work to enhance the power of America’s example overseas,” Porter continued.
In a 2016 Facebook post, Porter wrote that U.S. cops posed the largest national security threat, greater than that of both Russian hackers and ISIS, because of killings of Black Americans.
“The largest threat to U.S. national security are U.S. cops,” Porter said, as reported by The Washington Free Beacon. “Not ISIS, not Russian hackers, not anyone or anything else.”
“If ya’ll don’t wake up and rise up to this truth, the genocide against Blacks in America will continue until we are near extinct,” Porter said. “That’s not the world I seek to live in or create for myself and those around me.”

That’s a good one too yoe.
Saw a different one a few weeks back, and it caught the fine
details of the faces even better. Plus, it showed the ears
at just the same angle.
I kid you not, the ears have a kind of fingerprint aspect to
them, in that there are generally certain characteristics
that stand out from other ears, at least in some way. These
two have identical ears channels on the surface.
In the face, they have some of the same creases and eye
brow patterns.
It’s uncanny how much alike they appear when you study
them side by side.
Jalina Porter appears to be another Affirmative Action hire.
The easiest & probably best solution to her “often going off script” is to give her a bigger office, more impressive title and of course, more money.
Of course then she will probably just fail upward, a la Jen Psaki

dont know how much if any the two sets of stop photos have been manipulated to make the montage, but in the several photo steps as it morphs, even the eyebrow on their left side is almost exactly the same shape, color, length, etc-
