I remember talking to a teacher who had exchange students from Germany. Most native Germans don’t like the huge influx of immigrants from the Middle East but many are afraid to speak up. I wonder if German and Japanese armies, in 1941-1945, if they were in Mexico, had rushed the border with the US crying “REFUGE!” would the US have allowed them in?

Things are different now compared to 1941-1945. Back then, the USA government rounded up Germans and Japanese living in South America, and sent them to concentration camps in the USA. They didn't even rush our border at all. Now we welcome our enemies into our country and give them many perks.
