President Joe Biden on Wednesday hoped relief was coming for Americans still suffering from the coronavirus pandemic, even as the country passed a grim milestone for deaths from the virus in 2021.
“God willing, I think we’re just about to turn the corner again on the pandemic,” Biden said during an event on the White House complex.

No one seems to bring up the math. We have hit 700K deaths (likely 200K less because of fudging the numbers) The U.S. population is over 330 million. That’s .21%. I think the curve is flattened.
New cases are plummeting. People are sick of the plandemic, so I think they are allowing it to fade away.
2020 - 391,600 COVID deaths
2021 - 297,000 COVID deaths
However, NCHS (National Center for Health Statistics) data does have a statistical quirk every six years.
They tally deaths by week. That means every six years, one year catches 53 weeks of deaths instead of 52.
2020 has 53 weeks of data, and the the 53rd week for COVID was a huge one - 24,800
