Today, at intervals, I'm going frequently to my computer for updates on the Texas High School "shooting".

I have to scroll and scroll and search for the shooting thread EVERY time.

Not that this is going to kill me, LOL, but the larger comment and question is this........"Breaking News" on the FR "Forum" page is a joke and has been for a long time. So why is it even a FR feature if it NEVER carries "Breaking News"???

Just askin' out of curiosity.

Nearly anytime I try to post to breaking news (or even news), moderator moves it and sends me a message with a lecture about abusing breaking news.

I post exclusively in chitchat now because of that.

Used to be you could open up a FR and check the breaking news to see what was going on. That’s no longer the case.

My earliest thoughts on the photo of the suspect was that he has a diamond ear stud or whatever it is and he has braces. Orthodontia is not an option for a low income family usually.

So he may be middle class student.
