BiteMe can sign every damn UN treaty he wants, but the second he tries to override the US Constitution with it, he’s guilty of treason and this country will face deep trauma over it. This shit has gone far enough and so have these political hacks.

Few people realize that Red Flag Laws sort of already exist in the military. Service member given a Military Protective Order signed by his or her CO (not a judge) can have weapons confiscated and deposited into the armory. I know of a least two incidents where a civilian judge honored a military protective order and the local sheriff removed weapons from a service members off base home. Not a lawyer so not sure how legal all that was, but in general civilian authorities honor Military Protective Orders. Generally they detain the member until military authorities arrive to take custody. The difference I believe is that when a member is separated the military must return the weapon.

If he signs a UN Treaty on gun control, he will have violated
his sworn oath to protect the Constitution of the United
States.

Stick a fork in him. He’s done!

At one time, that would have been true.

Any international “treaty” signed by any POTUS, much less the senile old goat currently residing in the White House that has not been ratified by a vote of the US Senate is merely an exercise in self gratification with no constitutional authority whatsoever.

Furthermore, any ratified treaty must be congruent with the principles of the constitution, and may not be used as a backdoor method of negating the people’s inalienable rights that are protected by that document. Anything else is but a thinly disguised method of tyranny.

Treaties require 2/3 Senate approval. A holdover from the days when the Senate represented the states, who would find themselves bound by treaties.

If Obama, Carter and Biden were having a race for worst President of all time, Biden would be lapping both of them 2000 times over. This guy is beyond a nightmare and what makes it more horrific is he has 3 YEARS - that’s YEARS - and 4 months left in office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine the monumental damage by then, imagine the huge sum total of illegals by then, and Republicans STILL do nothing about election integrity so theoretically we could be looking at SEVEN YEARS of this sh**!!!!

Supreme Court has already said no to using treaty power to effectively amend the Constitution.
"The obvious and decisive answer to this, of course, is that no agreement with a foreign nation can confer power on the Congress, or on any other branch of Government, which is free from the restraints of the Constitution." —Reid v. Covert, 1957.

Regarding so-called peacetime federal gun control laws, patriots need to get grip on the reality of the federal government's constitutionally limited powers.

More specifically, some of the drafters of the Constitution did not want a Bill of Rights (BoR). They didn't want a BoR for the simple reason that they feared that it would eclipse the very basis of a constitutionally limited power federal government — and they were right.

In other words, militia issues aside, many pro-2nd Amendment (2A) patriots don't seem to understand the following. Even if 2A was to disappear from the Constitution overnight, it remains that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to make peacetime restrictive gun laws.

"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.

So why do the federal books now have peacetime restrictive gun laws?

Franklin Roosevelt: The Father of Gun Control

Regarding unconstitutional (imo) federal gun laws, note that the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, the main author of 14th Amendment (14A), had included 2A when he read BoR as main examples of constitutional priviliges and immunities that 14A applies to the states.

“See 2nd Amendment (Article II) about middle of 2nd column.” — John Bingham, Appendix to the Congressional Globe

The great irony about the fed's 14A power to make laws that address peacetime restrictive use of guns is this. The Fourteenth Amendment limits Congress to making gun laws that discourage state actors from abridging peacetime 2A protections!

From the 14th Amendment:

Insights welcome.

The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big, alleged election-stealing, Democratic Party-pirated federal and state governments oppressing everybody with the threat of unconstitutional gun laws...

Consider that all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.

Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.

Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states, the amendment limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.

Again, insights welcome.

"...are attempting to nibble away at the Second Amendment..."

Hmmm...
More like biting chunks out it, IMHO...

IAC, there has been no organized push-back against any of the measures that our communist masters have ether proposed, EO'd, or presented as a legislative goal or bill...

The sheeple are content with their handouts and untested jabs...
The sheeple follow the three rules:
Bow down!... Obey!... Snitch!...
Oh yes... They also know how to hold out their hands and beg for more $1200 checks

That was pretty much my point - like Obama, this regime will try an end run to circumvent the law, and would be committing treason by trying to enforce it. None of them care about the rule of law. I saw where people are already hoarding things like toilet paper and bottled water, and Costco is limiting bulk buying. My buddy texted me from Sam’s earlier - they’re out of milk, period, at his store and he was told there’s gonna be a chicken shortage the rest of the year. Thanks, Joe, let the breadlines begin.

Viking2002, haven’t you been paying attention? Nothing is Joe Biden’s fault! Afghanistan, the economy, the border, gas prices, you name it, it is all the fault of ‘that other guy’.
