Delta airlines planning to be net zero carbon as well All that pedaling by passengers in their seats to keep the twenty propellers whirling will be good exercise.
Fred Flintstone had to get a running start for the family car.

You eat Carbon Compounds when you eat food. In fact it is the majority of what you eat. You then convert much of that Carbon into CO2 as a result of being alive. The only way McDonalds could put an end to CO2 emissions is if they stopped serving food. It's not really an issue because plants love that CO2 and take in the Carbon and output Oxygen.
The deeper we get into this Global Warming Scam the more angry I get. All this needless activity designed to increase taxes and Government control because of this stinking scam. The only good thing to come out of this is it makes it easy to tell which news sources are compromised. If they push the Global Warming Scam assume anything else they push is also a lie until proved otherwise.

This might just be a bluff on McDonald’s part (see my post #11). But if not, McDonald’s can claim to be net-zero on carbon emissions by buying “carbon credits”. Of course, that will increase the cost of everything they sell. And that will hurt poor folks the most. But who cares about them?
The important thing is that we make Al Gore and Greta Thunberg happy.

Lets see.....
Cooking requires energy...end of story.
When I want to understand physics and thermodynamics, I always ask burger flippers.
Because they can do ANYTHING.

Of course Americans have obeyed the signs “Eat Here and Get Gas.”
But Mcdonald’s will put high tech plastic bags on the rear ends of all beef cattle to change the emissions into rose fragrance.
In real life, not a joke, the Detroit public bus system (DSR) in the 1960s had signs on the back to tell car drivers “This bus emits rose fragrance.” Problem was the mixture of actual exhaust and rose perfume in traffic jams was nauseating. The contract was broken.

Sounds to me like they are either going meatless or developing non-farting cows. My bet would be the former.

I’m planning to lift everyone out of povery and cause personal income around the world to increase by at least 1200% by the year 2080. And I plan to save the kittens too.

"Dollar sodas?"
Why would I waste gas to drive to a McDonald's to get a dollar soda, when all I have to do is open my fridge to get the soda of my choice?

They might as well, after they changed the way they fry them, their fries taste like cardboard.

Why don’t they go back to using coconut oil to make their french fries and stop worrying about non-existent “climate change?”

So I guess they won’t be letting me eat there anymore. Now if Taco Bell goes the same route there could be a real drop in diner emissions.
