(Harrisburg) — An anti-Trump candidate said Monday he is dropping his bid for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania.
Craig Snyder, a longtime lobbyist and political consultant from Philadelphia, said he has been unable to generate enough support.

Republicans running include conservative commentator Kathy Barnette; real estate investor Jeff Bartos, the party’s 2018 nominee for lieutenant governor; Sean Parnell, a decorated former Army Ranger and author who penned a New York Times-bestselling memoir of his service in Afghanistan; and Carla Sands, the wealthy former ambassador to Denmark under Trump.
Parnell — who is endorsed by Trump — and Barnette both ran for the U.S. House unsuccessfully last year. The GOP primary field includes several other relative unknowns.

“said he has been unable to generate enough support.”
Ask Uncle Soros.
Mcstaines, bushes and cheneys aren’t enough? Well I’ll be!
Good news, in my book.
Dear Anti-Trumper:
Don’t let the screen door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya.
Bye.
“....a longtime lobbyist and political consultant from Philadelphia”
Precisely NOT the background we as conservatives want in the US Senate.
Buh-bye.
I guess support from Kristol, Lowry, Goldberg, Shapiro, Sasse, Erickson, and all the rest wasn’t enough. So sad.
Folks at the country club, state GOP offices and the Chamber of Commerce are not happy.
Looks like the extreme left (McConnell wing) of the GOP has been CRUSHED by Trump. Nice to see!
Yeah, one can hope...
It's not easy to discover, but I think Nancy Pelosi is worth a couple of hundred million, maybe more. She is never characterized as "wealthy."
In fact I seem to recall an article that disclosed that there were lots more millionaire Democrats in Congress than millionaire Republicans.
Of course nowadays, a million isn't what it once was. I assume pretty much everyone that appears in the media is worth at least a few mil.
“... has been unable to generate enough support.”
Get lost ash hole.
Who could imagine that the base couldn’t get excited about a candidate whose resume is “long time lobbyist”?
A good point. She is definitely a centi-millionaire.

Good we don’t need RINO’s

Just what we don’t need more of in government.
Craig Snyder, maybe you aren’t getting support because you are a LOBBYIST, which Republicans should never be!
Remember that good quality, polite runner-up candidates gain experience in practice runs, without making enemies, and can be recognized in later campaigns. It also means that when they lose in the primary they do so with good graces.
We met Kathy Barnette several times at Tea Party meetings. She’s a good candidate with a compelling life story.
