“We have mating inequality in this country,” the marketing professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business told CNN on Saturday.
“Two in three relationships start on Tinder, 50 men, 50 women. Forty-six women show all their attention to just four men and what do those four [men] have? They signal success with a college degree,” he said.
- ADVERTISEMENT - Women make up almost 60 per cent of college students with men being at 40 per cent, and the gap is growing. In the fall of 1970, almost 59 per cent of college students were men, 41 per cent were women.
In 2020, US colleges enrolled 1.5 million fewer students than in 2015 and 71 per cent of those who have chosen to not study on are men. According to the Common Application, women made up 3.8 million college applications in the most recent school year, while men made up 2.8 million.
Mr Galloway noted that men also “drop out at a greater rate”.
“Over the next few years, for every one man that graduates from college, there’s going to be two women,” he said. “So this is becoming overwhelming. College is becoming the domain of women and not men.”
“The most dangerous person in the world is a broke and a lone male and we are producing too many of them,” Mr Galloway added. “The mating inequality that’s going to come out of this dearth of men in college poses an existential risk to our economy and our society.

FRanks!
What are they teaching in schools today ? You need a college diploma to be able to mate.?? What’s the coursework like??
The darker the berry the sweeter the juice, don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it.....
Yup
Women do not like to date/marry “down” as a general rule
That’s true for many degrees, but in general college degrees are not Garbage IMO...
It’s sort of hard to become any type of Engineer, like Electrical, Structural, Chemical, etc...without attending college....
The same would hold true of someone trying to become a medical doctor...
All that goes into getting a degree in a technical profession a lot of it is unnecessary but required.
A lot of technical professions don’t require college degrees, I spent my career in Computer Tech Support and I have a college degree and I worked with a number of people who didn’t and most of them were really talented..
If you want to learn to be software coder, I think you would be better off spending money on learning to code at a technical training school versus a 4 year university, you will employed sooner making the same amount of money....and spending far less on the training.
I think college degrees are still a valid option for many career fields, but people need to do their homework and evaluate the cost of getting the degree versus what type of degree they are going after......
College should be about (REAL) science and engineering. The whiney arts and social bs is destroying America and the world at large.
Many are there just for their MRS degrees.
It depends upon the college and the degree path.
Eco Science, Political Science, Gender Studies, Black (& pink, purple, Red, or Rainbow) Studies are all BS. Lead Nowhere. Yes, there are “government jobs” that pay people with those backgrounds. Most go no where.
College has become homosexual and weak. Most degrees are worthless, and you owe debt for decades, as I have seen from quite a few people I know that went to college long term.
Me? I got a technical degree and a general associates, just in case I may ever feel like I wanted to go get a decent degree, I would have most of the worthless crap classes knocked out already.
America needs technical degrees, skilled labor, apprenticeships, and blue collar workers.
I’m in college working on my Bachelor’s and eventually my Master’s degree in Social Work. My field is heavily female based and I agree that there are more women than men on the campus in general.
How many men are in trade school, the Armed Forces, or learning a trade through job training?
A degree is not needed for career success. I never had a degree while I was active duty, and didn’t need one to work offshore as an electronic/hydraulic/mechanical technician.
That means they can’t brainwash 60% of men...that has to be upsetting.
That was a brilliant insight!
In today’s world it’d be wise to consider a respectful foreign bride instead of a feminized college “educated” female. Or search out a solid Christian woman.
Hypergamy is built into female DNA.
In this case college is the only metric that they have to measure a higher social status, so that’s who gets the views.
I was just gonna say the same thing. These professors in administrators practically have the bus warmed up and ready to go to throw these young men couch students under the second they walk I campus, force them to take useless courses you’ll never need, etc. And then wonder why they’re not enrolling in schools. Instead, they are likely going to say a community college to learn a trade where that tactic is a lot less prevalent.
A college education with a strong foundation in the liberal arts and humanities used to enrich people intellectually. But now, the liberals arts and humanities are largely empty, mindless, phoniness with little value at all. Instead of advancing the culture, today’s liberal arts and humanities undermine it. And the universities charge a fortune.
Now that you mention it, why is Uncle Sam still depicted as a white guy, yet Uncle Ben had to be cancelled?
Yes, that video is just one example of what happens to males in our universities.
The other is that “flirting” is now attempted rape.
You see, a man is no longer allowed to even approach a woman without written permission from that woman.
The days of safely sending your male kid to college are long gone. Send him now, and he could be there for 3.5 years, have great grades, and then have it all STOLEN from him in a SECRET TRIAL because one or more chicks feel like taking him out.
College is still worth doing, at least for STEM degrees, but letting your male kid live there is a huge risk. Keep him living off campus, at a minimum.
