Australian Police Commissioner Refuses to Enforce Vaccine Passport Mandate

Revolt grows after unruly protests.

The Police Commissioner of New South Wales has refused to enforce the state’s vaccine passport mandate, revealing that officers will not be checking people’s vaccination status in restaurants, clubs or bars.

The government is preparing to pass a mandate that will ban all unvaccinated people from gaining entry to numerous venues up until at least December 1st in a repeat of the segregation scheme that has been adopted in numerous western countries.

However, after questions began to swirl about whether businesses would be forced to impose the measures on customers, NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller made it clear that his officers wouldn’t be on patrol.

“The role of police in terms of vaccine passports, we will not be walking through restaurants, cafes and pubs checking if people are double vaccinated,” he said.

“[But] we will certainly be assisting restaurant owners and shop owners if they are refusing entry to someone – we’ll certainly respond to assist those people.”

Health Minister Brad Hazzard asserted that it would be the police’s job to enforce the measures, but that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

Unlike in some countries, businesses won’t face fines if they allow unvaccinated people to enter, rendering the whole scheme rather pointless.

As we previously highlighted, many businesses in France are not enforcing the vaccine passport mandate despite it being the law.

Melbourne has been rocked by unruly protests since the start of last week after a construction workers union demanded employees get the jab or lose their jobs.

After construction workers staged a protest outside union headquarters, the government announced it would be shutting down all work related to industry for two weeks as a punishment.

This led to further clashes between police and demonstrators, with riot cops and special units normally reserved for anti-terror operations unleashed on Aussies.

Meanwhile, New South Wales health chief Dr. Kerry Chant revealed the truth yesterday when she let slip that COVID lockdown measures will remain in place even if people take the vaccine.

Good to see him standing up for citizens. He’s also standing up for his fellow police.
Police have to breathe a sigh of relief. If they had kept going in this direction each cop would have spend a lot of time worrying about their own security.

From wiki

“The next Australian federal election will be held in or before 2022 to elect members of the 47th Parliament of Australia. All 151 seats in the House of Representatives (lower house) and 40 of the 76 seats in the Senate (upper house) will be up for election. I have a feeling a lot of politicians will be losing their jobs in the near future.

Australia has that system they did in New York City for the Democrat Mayor candidate and set up to help Lisa Murkowski next year in Alaska.

You vote a series of preferences among the candidates-parties this usually means a mainstream Republican or Democrat Party wins after the preferences are sorted out in Australia’s House of Representatives.

Maybe the third parties will change things up next year? Australia will have plenty on their ballots I suspect.

Part of Australia’s Senate is up in next year’s election and here is where third parties usually get their footing into the system.

The series of preferences for Senate elections enable third parties to get a few seats and force the big ones to court their votes on legislation even though the Senate.

Wonderful! I heard that one NYC said (after the NYC anti-mandate demonstrations yesterday) that he wouldn’t be enforcing these things. The police have to be on the side of the people.

This may have happened in Australia too, because many of the thuggish police wearing vests stamped POLICE also had the insignia of “Predator,” a private para-military mercenary group (sort of like Blackwater) hired by the government to do what the real police won’t do.
