President Biden didn't just announce a Covid-19 vaccine mandate on companies employing 100 or more people, he plans to enforce it.
On Saturday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi's House quietly tucked a likely enforcement mechanism into their $3.5 trillion "reconciliation" bill, which passed the Budget Committee, and was sent to the House floor.
Our auditors at OpenTheBooks read the bill. Then, we connected the dots between the following:
Biden's vax mandate announcement The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies The House bill hiking the fines Buried on page 168 of the 2,465 mega bill is a tenfold increase in fines for employers that "willfully," "repeatedly," or even seriously violate a section of labor law that deals with hazards, death, or serious physical harm to their employees.
The increased fines could run as high as $700,000 for willful or repeated violations — within all private companies who have 100+ employees.
If enacted into law, Biden's hardball vaccine enforcement could bankrupt non-compliant companies even faster than the $14,000 OSHA fine anticipated under Biden's announced mandate.
... And there are a lot of moving pieces.
Together, let's hold the political class accountable.

Plus, a grab bag of other spending on "green" programs, schools, social services, etc.
Snuck into it by Speaker Nancy Pelosi are big fines via OSHA and the vaccine mandate that will cost businesses a lot.
And too many accept this with nearly zero push back. WTAF!?
Hard to believe that would be considered legal, but we live in strange times.

We have one possible escape hatch... defund the Federal Government! End the irresponsible failure known as the Biden regime. Let the US Government... go out of business. Forever.
It’s not like these large companies could STOP political contributions or donations as leverage...
It’s nice to be dictator.
I know a certain post production co. here that “fired” employees and re-hired them as contractors to go around the 100 employee rule.
Every day that passes is another day I realize more and more January 6th didn’t go far enough. Wait till those 83,000 IRS agents they hired start breakin chops. Merely taking out $600 from your checking and the bastards will be alerted. This is tyranny right in our faces boys and girls
If it isn't blatantly obvious by now to the remaining ranks of actual Americans in the military that we're in the midst of a Leftist takeover of the United States, we're sunk.
You had ONE job!
These are hard core communists we’re fighting.
The stolen election, the January 6 political prisoners, the endless targeting of the America First Trump family/associates and patriots by the “Justice” department, totalitarian authoritarian “medical” National Emergency power grabs over private companies and their employees and healthcare should have convinced everyone of this truth.
OSHA fines rarely get handed out. I’m in Construction Safety and know several folks who jumped over to the private sector because too any serious infractions were swept under the rug or negotiated away with “training.”
Granted this is intended to hit folks in the wallet for a number of very serious safety issues (Wuflu NOT being one of them) but nothing actually gets accomplished under an empty threat. Sure giant company “X” will get called out for missing a piece of paper on an OSHA Audit but they will not get fined or if they do, will still get billions in government $.
If we start hanging them it wouldn't be so nice now would it.
It's time.
>>> I know a certain post production co. here that “fired” employees and re-hired them as contractors to go around the 100 employee rule.
I think they closed that loophole.
It would be cheaper just to get rid of these communists.
We’ll see. They have Beverly Hills lawyers on retainers..
Wait till some of those IRS parasites wind up as tractor food.
How, a contractor is not an employee?
Biden doesn’t have the authority to do this and his “work around” using OSHA rules havn’t even been written yet. So how can they fine someone without authority or contrived authority?
>>> How, a contractor is not an employee?
I was just reading another article where they adjusted the bill to read “employees and contractors”.
