Stephanie Grisham describes Trump anger toward her and others as 'terrifying'

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham in a new book says former President Trump’s anger toward her and others was “terrifying.”

Grisham, who served as press secretary for nine months before moving to the first lady’s office, writes in her new book, “I’ll Take Your Questions Now,” that she started to regret her decision to work in the West Wing when she saw Trump’s temper “wasn’t just for shock value or the cameras.”

“When I began to see how his temper wasn’t just for shock value or the cameras ... I began to regret my decision to go to the West Wing,” Grisham writes in the book, according to The New York Times, which obtained the manuscript.

You have to wonder who at a publisher would buy a book like this? To what end? After she gives copies to mom & dad and a few friends and colleagues, the rest of them go to the remainder bin or the incinerator.

She’s a nobody, so she can’t pull a former House Speaker Jim Wright “Reflections of a Public Man” scam. She can’t pull off a Hunter Biden “artist” scam.

How would anybody make money off of this?

Agree. No sacred cows in politics. At best, there are a few hyenas who haven’t tried to bite us yet.

Yes. Legalized bribery/pay offs/graft. Long been used. Have a ghostwritten book. “Someone” buys a lot of copies and does whatever with them. The person who the book is attributed to as the writer gets big royalty payments. No muss, no fuss and bribes paid “legally” with the publisher taking a cut for legitimizing the scam. Ever wonder why so many politicos books end up in the $1.00 bin?

He was an outsider to the Mordor on the Potomac and had to learn the hard way about some people who presented themselves other than what they really were. Gave a lot of people a chance to show what they were made of, and some were deceitful pretenses.

I wouldn’t say he was a bad judge of character; just had to hire or appoint many many people. Without being familiar with the enemy territory.

In person he is very different than his public persona.

Gentlemanly.

Her statements about temper are lies.

Righteous anger against aholes is another thing entirely.

Yeah, that’s always a source of frustration for me as well: Liberals AT LEAST don’t shank each other (they shank the taxpayers instead). They may be a bunch of flaming idiots but they don’t betray their own party at the least incentive.

A lot of this has to do with how poor you start to get after you turn right. And what else is the Left famous for? A: Incessant spying - they may not betray one another but they spy on everyone. So they spy on Mr Right (who usually has better things to do with his time) and find out who he’s got a beef with; they stir the pot until it’s bubbling and then they step in and offer something. (Of course, for those of us who refuse the carrot, the stick comes next.) Very predictable.

Trump, temper?

He's a businessman from New York City. The good ones regularly ream someone out and then can laugh with a deserving staff member or client. Heck, New York City drivers and construction crew members do it all the time.

Stephanie Grisham needs to change her name to Snowflake Grisham.

True... and it took him a term to figure that out. I’ll bet that wouldn’t happen if he was in the WH right now....

Yeah Stephanie, sell yourself as a marshmallow, that'll send your tome to the top of the airport reading list lofl.

Women want to read about strong women not cheesy poofs.

Book schnook, but if she goes full hen cluck and drops eggs on The View and MSNBC, she is persona non grata in the GOP.

The media simply loved “Give ‘em hell Harry.” Clinton, actually both of them, had brutal tempers. Obama is also said to have had a bad temper. It only matters when a Republican has a temper.

The Hill is competing with the National Review to see who can be the most anti-American propagandistic.

You have to wonder who at a publisher would buy a book like this?

Politicians have so little to do with writing their books. I don't see why anyone would want to read one. These people are not great writers as Churchill or Teddy Roosevelt were.
