Democrats have always been warm to returning territory to Mexico. El Paso, parts of New Mexico, chunks of Arizona, and even Colorado. Our corridor from El Paso to San Antonio is comprised mostly of immigrants and new voting citizens. Eric Holder a master maestro in orchestrating that.
Open Borders is supported by the current Congressional Representative, Veronica Escobar. Her staff has advised refugees -in-waiting how to respond to Border Patrol. Beto O’Rourke will run for Governor and is Open Borders. But…my point being, why not? Why not start moving troops in (by mistake) to the interior? All kinds of strategic benefits await.
It’s getting worrisome. El Paso has been a great place to live over the years.
