Establishment Republicans, or RINOs, are known for constantly bending the knee to Democrats to avoid bad press from the left-wing mainstream media, and this one is no exception.
Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, a so-called Republican, has sided with the left on COVID mandates.
While his peers, such as Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, have stood firm against forcing children to wear masks, Holcomb has decided that it’s fine to abuse children.
“I think the schools that are putting mask mandates into place are making a wise decision when the facts warrant it,” Holcomb said. “I’m not surprised by the pushback having lived through the last year and a half.”

Oh, but come election time they will all tell us how outraged they are at the Democrats and promise to fight them. The GOP always turns “conservative” in the days leading up to an election. They are nothing but poseurs and liars.
It is good when an enemy puts on a sign that identifies him AS an enemy, we would otherwise not see because he looks just like us.
I wouldn’t want to use COVID responses as a litmus test.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just bend over than take a knee. After all, they’ve doing that for years or is it US that’s been bending/bent over. I’m so confused.

He only sounds conservative, in his re-election ads.
I don’t even know why he bothers running ads. The fix is in with McTurtle funding smear campaigns against any viable competitors.

Like many Indiana politicians he is a complete fraud. He claims to be a conservative Republican but as with 2/3rds of the Mayors who also claim the same, he and they are liberal Democrats. There are some neocons sprinkled in like Dan Coats, but very few actual conservatives.
The state party structure is filled with effete, pearl clutching dumb-dumbs who intrinsically lean left and are taken for a ride by these charlatans, election after election.
