During a Wednesday appearance on CNN’s “New Day,” journalist Bob Woodward discussed his new book, “Peril,” which is about the transition from President Donald Trump to President Joe Biden.
Host John Berman asked Woodward to explain what he means at the end of the book, in which he concludes that “peril remains.”
Woodward said he and “Peril” co-author Robert Costa both believe Trump is going to run for president again. He warned that Trump’s actions while in office “were not just a problem in the United States” but also “a national security emergency.”

Milley's claim that Trump was so deranged that he might start a war with a major nuclear-armed power is a malicious lie--but concocted for the purpose of making Trump seem crazy (with a view towards defeating him in 2024). The people who claim Trump might have done something so reckless were not bothered by Clinton's bombing of Iraq in an effort to stop the impeachment vote in the House of Representatives in 1998.

During the campaign in 2016, I was worried during the election that he didn’t already have a team in place. I knew if he had to depend on DC lifers, they were not going to have his best interests in mind.

As much as I loathe Erik Erickson I did listen to him for a brief moment on night, where he explained just how Wooward and Bernstein became the darlings of the liberal media.
Appears they weren’t the Super Sleuths that many give them credit for. According to Clown Erickson, they were provided information by a disgruntled FBI guy that was passed over for a promotion. Wasn’t like they did the digging and found the evidence.
He means Trump’s words - because Trump’s actual acts in office were among the mildest of any American President. They just couldn’t stand the way he called out the villains on a huge, influential platform like Twitter…and made the public listen.

It is. I’ve been saying all along that Milley probably thought he would be hailed as a hero for having committed treason and planned sedition, and I guess Woodward thought so too.
