Bowing to the threat of legal action against it, one Alabama hospital has rescinded its requirement that all staff be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
UAB Hospital in Birmingham said it will wait to learn how the federal vaccine mandates announced by President Joe Biden play out before imposing any requirement, according to WBRC-TV.
Last week, the Alabama Center for Law and Liberty said the hospital was violating state law, according to Al.com.
The letter said the state’s ban on vaccine passports means government entities cannot require anyone to disclose vaccine information.
“As the Supreme Court of Alabama has recognized, UAB Hospital is a state-run hospital,” the letter said.

Can we just start calling it what it is?!
Yeah and there was an article just today on FreeRep, that for the first time in Alabama history more people died than were born because covid, and no one sees the correlation between attitude and outcome
Instead of bending over, they utilized common sense. I’m shocked. I wish more places had the balls to do this.
I wonder if this goes for vendors as well. Starting in November they were going to require vendors to be vaccinated to gain entry to the facility. I wonder if that will be rescinded as well
Huh? I am not following your logic.
One interesting tactic I’ve heard about is to make anybody requiring you to take the jab sign a form that obligates them to pay for any damages that result from the vaccination. They suddenly lost interest once they must become responsible for any anything that may go wrong.
Federal judges have already said that they can’t be held liable. Carte blanche to screw you.
One small victory and this is where it starts.
Hard to even have a hospital with no staff.

“Larger question: Why are so many health care professionals refusing the vaccine?”
Simple (I think you know this): They see the damage and deaths these jabs are causing. They also see the fraud that has been committed when claiming everything is covid when it was not. They see the terrible medical protocols that have killed people.
I think there is something else. I think it may be because they know that you can easily survive Covid with early intervention. Why risk a vaccine?
Excellent point. A lot of fuss over little.
