A hostess at a well-known New York City restaurant was attacked just for asking to see a group's proof of COVID vaccination, a requirement to dine inside in the city.
Exclusive cellphone video obtained by NBC New York shows the Thursday evening attack outside Carmine's Restaurant on the Upper West Side. Around 5 p.m., tempers flared and the hostess stand is nearly tipped over in the mayhem, with a waiter at one point helping carry someone away from the scene.
The 22-year-old hostess asked the group of Texans to show proof of getting the COVID vaccine in order to dine in the restaurant, part of NYC's executive order that went into effect this week. Law enforcement sources said that the hostess was then repeatedly punched in the face and body, and sent to the hospital.

That sure is one way to keep tourists from visiting your town. There is no way I would visit NYC; especially not with De b-lousey mayor still in charge.
This is what they want, divide the united, cause chaos and dissension in every direction. It’s working perfectly.
And the female stooge on the video suggested 500 to 1000 dollar fines...Gezuz..
Live by the sword and die by the sword.
The Media is an agitator. Also unnecessary
My opinion. . .this seems like an obvious false flag situation that will occur more often to be repeatedly held up by our D.C. overlords as rationale for their vaccine mandates.
Like most stories, this one is missing something. I suspect this one has entire chapters missing.
I live in Arkansas, worked and lived in Texas for over a year as roughneck. I know Texan’s pretty well.
They might be arrogant, they might be ill mannered from time to time, they tend to root for the wrong football teams, but they do not go around hitting women because they were asked to show proof of a vaccine or leave.
That would take some extreme escalation somewhere well past talking bad about their Mamma. Even for those I suspect are Houston natives.
I never cared for Houston...
I said the same thing last year. “Wait until it gets hot on Chicago’s south side, there’ll be trouble keeping people locked down”. We’re both wrong. This group of people don’t have to control impulses, follow unconstitutional decrees or put up with BS from woke Karens like this. I say slap her again.
Just leave.
Lol, is “Texans” the new name for “Amish”?
NEW YORK CITY?!?!?
Get a Rope!
I’m against the shots.
I am also against hitting unarmed women, even poorly behaved ones.
There is no shortage of places to eat in NYC where “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is in operation.
I am in the smaller but still large city of Phoenix, and have taken my treatment during masky times as a way to favor or blacklist certain establishments. I just found a dentist! (some dentist offices are still masky here)
Which part?
That’s why I’m not going to NYC.
This is what the tyrant’s in the WH want.... chaos.
Maybe the author was trying to provoke raw emotion, which it did. Today’s media - emotion over fact. Throwing in the ‘fact’ that they are Texan is meant to rile up Texans. Otherwise, it is irrelevant. The facts are that a few patrons got upset with the waitress for asking them for proof of vaccination. Those might or might not be facts, but the story could be totally re-written to evoke a different response.
Couldn’t care less, and hope it happens more.
In civil wars, you can get ouchies.
“Vaxes....Vaxes? We ain’t got no Vaxes. We ain’t got no Vaxes. We don’t need no stinking Vaxes...”
Animals. I second that.
Are they suppose to get a pass? This culture is festering this false premise that the color of their skin can enable them to do what they want without consequence.
