Like most stories, this one is missing something. I suspect this one has entire chapters missing.
I live in Arkansas, worked and lived in Texas for over a year as roughneck. I know Texan’s pretty well.
They might be arrogant, they might be ill mannered from time to time, they tend to root for the wrong football teams, but they do not go around hitting women because they were asked to show proof of a vaccine or leave.
That would take some extreme escalation somewhere well past talking bad about their Mamma. Even for those I suspect are Houston natives.

Man, never say that while standing anywhere near or inside the Texas boarder. You are insulting the state religion.
If these were three Black women from Houston, we can generally
agree, they aren’t part of our, or the majority of Texan’s voting
block.
You can’t tell some Black women anything these days. They’ve
been so pumped full of rights they can’t interpret, that it’s a
completely out of hand situation if you do.
There needs to be a bouncer type guy at the reception desk.
People pull that nonsense and beat them to a pulp.
