More than 660,000 white flags have been displayed in a solemn tribute across a vast expanse on the National Mall in Washington, DC — each representing a life lost to the coronavirus pandemic in a heart-rending exhibit called “In America: Remember.”

The 20-acre installation — which was unveiled Friday near the Washington Monument — is the second chilling exhibit that artist Suzanne Brennan Firstenberg said is based on a project trying to capture the “human dignity” behind the staggering death toll.

As of Friday, 670,034 deaths — one of every 500 Americans — have been recorded in the US and more than 41,700,000 cases confirmed, according to figures from Johns Hopkins University.

While she is putting her white flags up on one side of the country, her ideological fellow travelers on the other side of the country were removing American Flags dedicated to the memory of 9/11.

Color me cynical, which I am, but not seeing anything about when she started this:

It feels like it was started to offset and defy the 9/11 remembrance.

After all, she was outraged that TX gov said people should be normal.

So she probably didn’t like that 9/11 might draw attention to true human enemies, while COVID might allow hatred on real Americans who love liberty.

Where’s the flags for those who died of suicide, OD, alcoholism, and preventable medical issues during lockdowns?

One of our female in laws in her 70's just died from acute onset of Adult Leukemia.

Like millions of us she had not been able to see her family doctor until she received a steroid shot in her shoulder about 2 months ago. Her doctor for all of her adult life asked her how she was doing as he injected her shoulder.

She said beside being tired, she was short of breath and had chest pains.

The doctor ordered a panel of tests. He got a call from the lab director saying that his patient was in full blood adult leukemia and tell her to get to the hospital and be admitted.

She was admitted and was tried with several drugs, which made her worse.

Making a long story short, she went home and after a couple of weeks tried more therapies and had terrible responses.

They stopped all therapies and after a couple of weeks she went on hospice and died last weekend.

Nice to see people care but I doubt the numbers. Web aware folks and some whistleblowers have all seen the countless cases of people dying of other causes, but were tested positive for Covid and death certificates claim Covid.

I try not to buy into conspiracy theories without substantiation. However, with our own Fedgov ignoring the countless new studies, trials, Doctors/Nurses/medical types statements, stats from other nations like India that certain therapeutics work, I'm not so sure now.

Indisputable facts; REGN-COV2 (monoclonal antibodies) cured Pres. Trump in like 3 days. Ivermectin has also been a cure for a state in India where all citizens received it, albeit to a lessor degree than REGN-COV2. Then you have many prophylactic formulas.

Now Biteme wants to control/limit the use of REGN-COV2. WTF is going on? Don't bother, I know, Big Pharma and dollars. My mind just can't wrap around how controlling our fedgov/states is now.

Come at me with the needle that causes so much harm and see what happens. I'm not going to die alone from an experimental drug.

I checked the death rate for Americans in 2018, before Covid, and it was 869/100,000, or 1 in every 115. Since the Covid death tally is for more than 20 months, the Covid deaths per year are probably something like 1 in every *800, a about one-seventh of the expected total death total.

I think that puts it more into perspective, since most of the Covid deaths were of the elderly with co-morbidities who may have died anyway.

*410,000 (2020 Covid deaths) x 800 = 328,000,000 (approximate US population)
