So many times we were left shaking our heads during the Trump Administration, wondering who in his Cabinet could be trusted. We saw many of their deeds as unpatriotic or deeply questionable.
We were shocked to learn earlier this week that Gen Mark Milley, JCOS chairman, has admitted in an upcoming book titled “Peril,” that he had back channels with his Chinese counterpart in case President Trump pulled some rogue maneuver following the stolen 2020 election.
Today, Trump’s former Defense Secretary, Mark Esper, rode to Milley’s defense, tweeting that the “White Rage Woke” Milley is a “person of impeccable integrity and professionalism.”
We just learned from General Paul Vallely that it was in fact Defense Secretary Mark Esper who arranged the back-channels for the Chinese talks. Both Milley and Esper were concerned that President Trump would go off half-cocked and launch nuclear missiles to defend his position, an unwarranted and ridiculous assumption, given the pro-military and anti-war agenda of President Trump.
No wonder President Trump had so much trouble accomplishing his goals! His cabinet was filled with yellow-bellied traitors!
Attorney General Bill Barr was equally disappointing, as it was he who proclaimed the steal of 2020 to be legitimate, urging President Trump to officially drop the issue.
Surrounded by traitors, our President was hamstrung at every turn.
God help us.
That was Trumps biggest downfall. Trusting GOPe recommendations and the naive believe that most people already in high level positions were professional and had America’s best interests at heart. I’m pretty confident that he’s been well educated by his experience and will do much better next time. 🤞
Yes, sleepers. Just like I and Q said. Pence is a good example. Do you understand the term 'sleepers' in this context?
Maybe you can google it. 'F' it. I'll do it for you, after all I am here to teach.
(pay particular attention to definition #7)
Do you need help with 'mole'? I can help with that too, but I'll need overtime.
So I repeat....
Get it now?
I don't know of any other President of our time who could have withstood the politics of personal destruction the insubordination of members of his own cabinet and two bogus impeachment attempts and not be distracted from the job at hand as POTUS.
China did not own Trump. Sad to say, the same cannot be said for many of our dirtbag politicians whether Democrat or Republican - including the current occupier of the Oval Office.
Trump made the mistake of assuming that fellow members of his own party would at least be loyal and trustworthy - not necessarily because they "liked" him - but because they loved our country whose citizens freely ELECTED Trump.
If his business history is any indicator, Donald Trump seems to be a man who learns from his mistakes and is capable of taking effective corrective action.....a man who never gives up.
I agree. Notice at election time that the military seems to be among the groups whose votes tend not to be fully counted!!! Especially when elections are close.
Unfortunately, most of the people we need to terminate are those protected by the Civil Service Acts. They are the true swamp creatures: Career Bureaucrats (e.g. Fauci).
Like Trump tried to do with the Department of Agriculture, we need to move every federal department out of Washington D.C., and make those bureaucrats live in the real world.
Trump needs to develop his sixth sense, and learn to trust it.
Trump’s greatest failings from the very start was he and those working with him were as bad at vetting his appointments as is the intelligence community at vetting refugees and immigrants from the Middle East.
I think what needs to be done in the future is better vetting of whoever wielded a lot of influence in the staffing process. I assume that's a fairly small group of people. I believe Reince Preibus may have coordinated it. That may have been the problem right there. A future conservative President cannot have someone like that coordinating the staffing process.
Thanks Red Badger.
“Soiled”? Technically, yes. But in THE MEDIA,and every left dominated world, they will be propagandized as HEROES.
Already are...................
President Trump, and many others, are certainly getting educated on the depths of the evil swamp every day.
Trump approved most of those to their jobs.
What happened when Trump tried to fire Sessions? His own party publicly threatened him. Is that his fault, too? 2017 set the tone of Trump’s admin. The message from the GOP to Trump’s cabinet was clear: support the coup or else.
Do you not understand that every president relies on others to do this :vetting: .... he relies on the recommendations and counsel of others?
We can agree that Trump did many positive things, but ‘cleaning the swamp’ is a primary promise of his, and even with a good-faith try, he failed. So what is the best path forward? Do we think he’s established a good enough team to do it right this time? Or does it just incrementally not fail as badly?
None of us knew - the thugs ran DC as a private club OF elites, FOR elites, and to hell with the people of the country.
These traitors must have been sure Hillary would win - or they would have made more effort to rig Trump's first run...
We have a long way to go, those who are in love with this will need to fall out of love with it. It has to get really bad before the stupid realize its not what they wanted
Like Mark Meadows.
My idea would be to just fire 60% of government employees and nominate NO ONE for any position. Let them stew.
This is one of the most important things that Trump (unintentionally) exposed, i.e. the fact that most of the top people in the GOP hate the base. The Deep State corruption is another.
Go away.
