A fourth Reich, no relation to any of the first three.

Now Russia has a bona fide excuse to beef up it’s military.

Exactly right. They realize that the Worst Case Scenario is Joe Biden and his entire administration. They are politically prepping for saving themselves.

I wouldn’t have a problem with that except we ARE our worst case scenario under Biden *spit*

As a matter of fact, nowadays, the Europeans are the conservatives and the adults in the room. The EU is actually quite more conservative than people in the US think. Bernie Sanders notwithstanding. (He is projecting his USSR experiences into the EU to make it more palatable.)
Afghanistan was a NATO action, but Bidet basically betrayed NATO by unilaterally pulling out. The criticism he got un Europe is beyond anything you can hear anywhere in the USA!
So, paradoxically, Bidet may achieved what several of his predecessors could not. Forcing EU to really arm themselves and forget the US military.

What a great idea. Let Germany rearm for a third time. What could possibly go wrong?

Maybe it's a good idea. We don't seem to have the genes to protect ourselves.

She declared the EU was held back by a 'shortfall of capacity'...

BS. More like a shortfall of gratitude and guts, but plenty of greed for Uncle Sam's generosity. Whoever wants Europe in the future can have it AFAIC.

Most are in arrears to NATO.

If they want to go pay their own bills…

The next? They already are.

Moreover, I cant blame them since pig faced bidet is not able to remember his own name say nothing about who is in the present NATO.

Besides that, we could very well be in a civil war soon here.

Ironic, the feckless Joe Biden may get them to do what Trump was attempting to do, to get them to pull their own weight and take care of themselves.

>Excellent idea ! US taxpayers are tired of paying for your defense anyway

Thats the rub, Euros won’t do it unless they somehow get the US to pay for it.

Maybe that should be the official name of this Afganistan mess, “Joe Biden’s hasty pull out.”

Between the Napoleonic wars and two world wars European countries are rightly wary of a unified army.

Yes, but I suspect once their citizens start paying for it themselves instead of the USA, they will beg the USA to return.
