“ whatever the Taliban’s views on al Qaeda, they do know that the last time they harbored al-Qaeda and engaged in an outwardly directed attack on our homeland, certain things followed”
Well they just blew up 200+ people and some of them were our guys so you better get to it Mr Blinky and start bombing the crap out of them right?

Question:
"Has the Taliban abandoned their sympathy and collaboration with groups such as al Qaeda and the Haqqani network... or has that relationship been severed?" Have they abandoned it? Or has it been severed?
Answer: It has not been severed. But it may have been abandoned. We have no idea.
These people are just jabbering.

they do know that the last time they harbored al-Qaeda and engaged in an outwardly directed attack on our homeland, certain things followed which I believe they would have an interest in not seeing repeated.
Ya, I'm sure they regret winning a war against America. Or at least the country formally known as America. Cuse this is not the America I grew-up in.

Whatever risks the US faces, YOU have contributed to it Mitt. You are truly as clueless as you are ego driven.

Mitt Romney, do you still sympathize with muslim extremists?
Mitt Romney, do you still sympathize with deep state?
Mitt Romney, do you still sympathize with globalism?
Mitt Romney, do you still transport your dog on top of your car?

At this point, even if Romney were to say something spot on accurate, I would not really care.

You are truly as clueless as you are ego driven. That's one of the more ironic things about Trump's rise. One of the arguments against Trump was that he had too large of an ego - but it was the egos of his critics that was a big contributing factor in making the environment possible for him to prevail.
To: ChicagoConservative27
It was actually a good question. The point wasn't "gee, I don't know, why don't you tell me if the Taliban still has a relationship with AQ." The point was to get Blinken to admit that he had no idea whether there was or not. It's a pretty damning admission even if we all knew the answer before he asked. Just getting him to say that under oath was important.
That being said, I still can't stand Romney.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Should have asked if water is wet; would have been a more substantial question from Mittens.

Mitt,
Were in this mess because you and your traitorous RINO coconspirators wanted us in this mess. Just put a sock in it No one wants to live with your odorous effluvia.

I heard that and fell off the couch laughing.
