If you are a registered voter in California, you should have received a ballot in the mail for Tuesday’s recall election.
And — please, please — mark no on the first question that asks if Gov. Gavin Newsom should be kicked out of office. No matter how you feel about Newsom’s performance, voting yes will unleash months of political chaos that will be bad for the state at a time when it needs its leaders focused on responding to and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This brings us to the second question on the ballot, which asks voters to choose Newsom’s replacement should the recall pass. Even if you vote no on the recall, you can vote for a replacement — and you should, just in case.
But who? Since the law bars Newsom from running as a replacement to himself, we think the only candidate who comes close to being qualified to run a state the size and complexity of California is Kevin Faulconer.
Faulconer is moderate Republican, and as the former mayor of San Diego, the state’s second largest city, he has experience running a large government. While he’s the best of a bad lot, he’s still not as innovative and forward-thinking as Newsom.
So go vote — and say no when you do.

NO to your “no.”
“No matter how you feel about Newsom’s performance,...”
Say what??
One way or anther Newsom will remain in office. Here’s hoping he brings his supporters all the grief they deserve.
Double negative makes for a positive. No on no is a positive step. Maybe they should do it on a couple of others from CA.
The LA Times lies, and has been doing so for decades...
Yep, may anyone voting for Newsom get what they deserve...good and hard.
The Tmes effectively is saying if you’re dying on the table, don’t fire the surgeon because it’ll be chaotic when they have to manage the autopsy.
Could it be because some white suprema-cyst may take his place?
Vote No to welcome more illegal aliens, death, fires, water shortages, higher taxes, and special rules for elected officials.
I know. You’ve heard me say: I wouldn’t line my cat litter box with that paper. But it’s true. Although who reads paper newspapers anymore?
LA Times , a LEFT WING RAG.
Don’t believe anything you read in the democrat media.
ANYTHING !!!
Since I have the pleasure of NOT living in California, can someone here enlighten me as to the Positive things Newson has done for his state since being Governor. All I hear and see when I am in that state is a general decline in all areas necessary for a comfortable life. Certainly someone here can provide a long list of good things he has accomplished that would make the voter happily keep him in office.
In this image you see a female in a gorilla mask toss an egg at Elder.
In this image Elder is about to hug this lady who helped him. The LA Times ran this picture with the caption 'LAPD is investigating altercation involving Larry Elder at Venice homeless encampment'. Since it looks like he is slapping her the Times got so much negative feedback they scrubbed the article.
My sister lived in Kalifornia until late last year; she apparently supported Governor Noisome because "he seemed nice" - and that may be the sum total of his accomplishment[s] as governor...
;^)
fixed it
There is a very good reason that that newspaper has been called The Los Angeles SLIMES for MANY years.
I left So Cal over 28 years ago & you couldn’t trust a word from them at that time.
Fortunately, California recalls tend to be successful. Of the 11 recalls that have qualified for a ballot election in the past century, six have been successful, including the previous governor recall.

What else would you expect from one of the most liberal rags in the country?
