President Joe Biden decreed on Thursday that private companies with more than 100 workers would have to make it a condition of employment for them to get vaccinated—either that, or take weekly tests for the virus. You may wonder: On what authority can Biden order this?
The White House is relying on the regulatory authority of the Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), an agency dating back to 1971, and in particular its seldom-used emergency powers. Some backers of Biden's action seem to think waving in OSHA's general direction, together with citing COVID-19's high death toll, is all the answer needed to questions about legality.

It seems Biden’s own statement when he announced this, should be grounds for this to be challenged and overturned. During his speech he said nothing about keeping workers safe, but admitted by using OSHA to mandate employees get the vaccine, he could get 80 million people vaccinated. Is this the new standard, when our president want to use dictatorial power he just orders a regulatory agency to do it for him?
And conveniently, companies who have individuals with serious adverse reactions from the jab, must pay!
It’s considered a “job injury” exempting Pfizer and the government from having to pay out. The taxpayers foot the bill.
My wife insists that one day Biden is going to slip up and say he was just doing what Obama told him to do.

We are living through an authoritarian era. They laugh at the idea of us asking “where do they get the authority”. They know they get it form the FBI, DOJ, petty local tyrants, and leftist and cowardly judges and from big banking. THAT is where they think their authority comes from.
