Washington, DC (CNN)The United States Capitol Police (USCP) announced that disciplinary action has been recommended in six cases against officers following internal investigations into the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

The statement did not specify if the six cases involved six separate officers nor did it name any of them. CNN has reached out to the USCP for clarification....

FOIA being no good is the reason that everyone should be concerned with the capital police opening satellite offices in California and Florida. Pelosi’s secret police.

Apparently, welcoming people into the Capitol with the express purpose of arresting them on fake insurrection charges is part of their regular assigned duties as Kapitol Kops.

They are careful not to say what any of the 38 investigations are about.

It might be that as they dug into things...some people claimed qualifications/status, and the paperwork/claim was fake.

Wouldn’t surprise me they’d signed off on training paperwork for yearly requirements, but never actually did the training.

I would suggest this, having seen Pentagon security...these guys at the capital building remind me more of mall-police, than Pentagon-level security personnel.

PSSSSST!!! Politico REVEALED the REAL reason for the disciplinary action:

The timing of the release was, in part, a result of the fact that prosecutors had in recent days begun sharing the reports with many of the 600-plus defendants charged in connection with the Capitol riot. Defendants have sought these reports to argue that they believed the police had given them permission to enter the building and had encouraged them in some cases. It's unclear whether the reports will substantiate any of those claims.

What happened is that the reports and videos clearly show that many Capitol Police (way more than 6) ENCOURAGED the protesters to enter the Capitol Building. Therefore, you the prosecution can't claim that they protesters FORCED their way in when they were invited in by the Capitol Police. So what to do? PRETEND that those Capitol Police were somehow violating their orders.

And now those disciplined Capitol Police now have an incentive to reveal the TRUTH about what really happened on January 6 and on the days leading up to it.
