Washington, DC (CNN)The United States Capitol Police (USCP) announced that disciplinary action has been recommended in six cases against officers following internal investigations into the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.
Violations sustained include three cases for conduct unbecoming, one for failure to comply with directives, one for improper remarks, and one for improper dissemination of information, according to a USCP statement released Saturday. The statement did not specify if the six cases involved six separate officers nor did it name any of them. CNN has reached out to the USCP for clarification....
...The USCP's Office of Professional Responsibility launched 38 internal investigations, and was able to identify the officers involved in 26 of those cases. In 20 of the cases, no wrongdoing was found....

The Capitol Secret Police are not subject to FOIA.
Apparently murdering an unarmed woman passed muster.
“one for improper remarks”
But shooting an unarmed veteran through the neck is fine.
well ...fudge. What else can we use?
Nothing against Michael Leroy Byrd.
They couldn’t wait until Monday? They have to have the date on this piece read sept 11. Ok
The FBI has determined there was no organized plan to seize the Capitol or overthrow the government. “Insurrection” is a crime, but no one has been charged with it. Still, in the media, we’re going to continue to use the word because it has a nice ring to it and helps further the false Democrat narrative
nice timing...not.
How about.......M.U.R.D.E.R.?
26 cases involved of officers were identified + 20 cases of no wrongdoing doesn't add up to 38 investigations. I know it's not talking about 26 individual officers, but cases of infractions. I'm just going with the results of the 38 investigations. Am I really so old I don't get this?
Is the planned protest on the 18th still a go?
Yeah only because Matt Baynard is a tool knowing that the corrupt FBI has already infiltrated it.
makes it sound like they can’t identify 12 of their own officers?
I think that discovery in the cases of those arrested in re: Jan 6 would get past their secret handshake deal that is (according to you) not subject to FOIA.
Right to any and all information is a standard feature in a criminal prosecution.
It’s a given that FBI and antifa would infiltrate. Someone has to bring the confederate flags.
How many more of them will commit suicide?
8. CNN title said ,”insurrection”. Writer wrote both “riot” and “insurrection”. Two out of three being wrong should qualify for firings, not continued job security.
Forget it Jim. It’s CNN!!!
Insurrection normally implies armed uprising aimed at overthrowing a government. Where were the weapons, and how were the capital visitors going to grab the reins of power?
