This is as it should be. The USA and individual states in the union should really adopt this approach.

Yet, the west...USA and Australia .... are the tyrannical states not allowing FREEDOM to chose.
Truly upside down world.
🙃
Well well well. It will be interesting to compare the PI results with India. If only a state Governor in the US would do the same thing.
He’ a tyrant, but less of a tyrant than Joe Biden.
“President Duterte has decided to leave the use of antiparasitic drug ivermectin to the discretion of doctors and patients. “
Liberty and Personal Freedom would dictate otherwise?
It’s almost as if he believes in freedom.
Almost.
“Nobody has published in a journal– a medical journal which the doctors rely on– that would say that all of these tests were conducted and the result is what is being laid down here,” he said. “
And that is not going to happen as long as the vaccine keeps getting pushed. If it did get published it would prove the vaccine wasn’t needed and Fauci isn’t going to let that happen.

What happens if a doc prescribes ivermectin? Can he lose his license?
A very wise decision by President Duterte! Fauci should take his advice.
It’s very difficult to compare PI vs anywhere because the course of Covid has been vastly different there than in most places. The death rate has been unaccountable low, for one thing.
And the PI lockdown policies have been extremely extended and draconian.

I suppose I’d take a tyrant who simply want to be in power over one who’s actively trying to destroy his own country.
This is an interesting sidebar...
A Dengue Fever Vaccine fiasco in the Philipines...
Perhaps related...Seems they did not test long enough on children :(
Certainly a cautionary tale...

Good point.
The rules here in the Philippines change about as often as the weather in Kansas.
For the longest time, Ivermectin was available ‘over the counter’, if I recall correctly. Then the Philippine version of the FDA pulled it because “vaccinate” (not “treat”) became the popular word. (No profit in a 15¢ tablet)
We’re down about 5 friends/acquaintances since the ‘shoot everybody’ attitude kicked in.
Shhh; but don’t tell anybody.
My stepdaughter's pastor told her where to get it.
We have been vaxxed (AstraZeneca, not the mRNA vaccine) and I think she and the maid had a mild case awhile back but were not tested.
However, her husband is low risk and an antivax type, so I am giving him a dose weekly as a prevention.
