Sept 9 (Reuters) - The National Treasury Employees' Union, which represents 150,000 federal workers, said on Thursday the government has the "legal right" to require employees to be immunized for COVID-19, suggesting it will accept the vaccine mandate President Joe Biden is expected to unveil. "The executive order the White House is expected to release later today making vaccination a condition of employment for federal employees is a step the government, as an employer, has the legal right to take," union President Tony Reardon said in a statement.

No one who works for government in DC is without the stain of the evils their work supports. Including you. You think you’re working behind enemy lines but you’re not. You’re supporting what has become an evil empire and you’re not even sitting there planning to do something to help the situation. You’re just getting your pay check, paying your bills, supporting your family- all on the blood of your fellow citizens who are abandoned in hostile territory to barbarians who cut off heads and rape women and children. You should be proud of your work.

I used to be a Federal Contractor for the CDC.

You’d be shocked how many full-timers and contractors in government are strong conservatives.

You cannot fight the system as well from without, as you can from within.

Your blanket-blame is misplaced and is in error.

In the timeframe that you were a contractor, you are probably right. Since the Biden Junta started, all bets are off. Continuing to working for an illegitimate governing body makes you part of the problem even if you want to be part of the solution.

Another way to describe the situation that might make more sense to those who think i am wrong:

if you assist a murderer get away with a crime, its called aiding and abetting. If you allow a murderer to escape apprehension or conviction its termed accessory. Both of these are unlawful and can result in conviction and sentencing under our justice system.

How is it any different to allow the current junta to do what they want? If you continue to work for this government that was put in place by fraud then are you not aiding, abetting, and being an accessory to the crime?

I still disagree. Those who are conservative, who are inside the beast, have an opportunity to slow-walk or ‘oopsy’ make mistakes on enforcement of various elements of tyranny.

That is the successful approach that the left took vis-a-vis Donald Trump, although they were trying to thwart freedom, not tyranny.

The private sector will have an option to test. We (Feds) are being told there is no longer a test option; get the jab or be terminated (or in my case, retire.)

“No one who works for government in DC...”

Oh, ho! Now HERE’S genius!

There are only Federal workers in DC!

Uhh, no, Sunshine, there are people all over the country who get paid by various Departments of the Federal government, who do and support everything from forestry to scientific research at the leading edges of man’s knowledge of the universe. VAST numbers of them AREN’T collectively represented. The Federal workforce isn’t a homogeneous bureaucratic monolith. They’re not an orc-ish cabal of banal, hook-nosed Jewish stereotypes cackling to one another across their offices as to how they’re f@#king you over today...

Your views are narrow, small, ill-informed, and we have space probes out exploring the Solar System that are closer to Reality than you are.

But let me, please, apologize for my harsh tone...

THIS article refers to 150,000 specific employees of the Treasury Dept. represented by a union, and the unions are NOTORIOUSLY leftist, without regard to the mix of political views held among the rank and file.

I’VE been speaking more broadly of Federally-paid employees NATIONWIDE, MANY of whom AREN’T part of any union.

So, perhaps that clarifies my commentary.

Again, I apologize for being “edgy”; we conservatives embedded, if you will, within these government organizations get swept along in the headlines, but the Reality is the work on my desktop is the same under Biden as it was under Trump; it’s really just the scarecrow media who fabricate the illusion that things are different.
