Sept 9 (Reuters) - The National Treasury Employees' Union, which represents 150,000 federal workers, said on Thursday the government has the "legal right" to require employees to be immunized for COVID-19, suggesting it will accept the vaccine mandate President Joe Biden is expected to unveil. "The executive order the White House is expected to release later today making vaccination a condition of employment for federal employees is a step the government, as an employer, has the legal right to take," union President Tony Reardon said in a statement.

Fed employee here - head of household, vet, a hard-worker, etc. who is feeling very alone now. I’m in the very small minority of unvaxed employees at my work place who feel its immoral to make someone do something to their body that they don’t want to. And resigned to being fired, I suppose. With very few on my side (with hardly any options) it seems.
I’m not in that situation but I thought about what it would be like.
And what I would do.
Of course, everyone has to decide for themselves.

I just heard five min ago that the Post Office will not be included in mandate.
Looks like the left paid off the union leaders quite handsomely.

These folks can have a new union tomorrow, a union that will protect them.
Surely if the government has no legal right to ‘compel speech’ of a government employee, how on earth do they have the right to tell an employee they must get a shot? It’s like making it a requirement to be a liberal to be a government employee.

Don’t quit. File a religious exemption, and if rejected, make them fire you.
Then sue for civil rights discrimination.
