I just got an IMS text message on my iPhone with the title: Arizona Voter Alert. (I am located in Arizona) The sending phone number was +1(855)529-5111. The text of the message was:
Arizona Voting Alert:
You may be eligible to Vote in AZ. Don't wait. Secure you Vote Today! Register to Vote in Arizona Here: go.voteaz.co/qHP------ (exact gobbledegoop obscured by me)
My concern is that the area code is international and the ".co" suffix on the web link would normally indicate Columbia. Why would a voter registration campaign have international roots??!
Fishing for your personal data.
Fishing = Phishing.
That’s just El Chapo.
It’s code.
You should have a manual that explains this.
Basically it means you ain’t been moving enough bricks
and may get audited. And you don’t want audited by ChapoCorp.
They want your data so they can vote for you.
1. 855 can be a US number
2. .co can be. a US based website.
If I did an OP for every spam call ...
I get crap texts and crap phone calls every single day,
but I never thought about posting vanities about them.
Well, they will ask for your social security number, address, bank and credit card numbers, and the name of you childhood pet.
Well-known spam number - safe to ignore.
LMAO!
I tried to go to the domain but it wouldn’t resolve and I couldn’t get a hit on Google for the address. Sounds like a complete scam to me. Stay away.
maybe someone with a virtual machine can check this out?
Boards of Elections rarely if ever call you — I don’t even recall giving them a phone number.
“I tried to go to the domain but it wouldn’t resolve and I couldn’t get a hit on Google for the address. Sounds like a complete scam to me. Stay away.”
Rule #1: Never click on or try to access sites in spam.
Always use Spy Dialer to confirm spam call.
Its a spam call
Looks like a get out the vote group. Not sure how legit.

I got a call saying my car’s extended warranty is expiring.
The car is 2 years old with no extended warranty.
Just assume that all these unsolicited texts are scams. Just delete and block the number. Never respond to any text or email where you aren’t sure you know the sender. Some of these scams are very clever at appearing to be paypal or amazon or such.
A lot of crooked ventures use .co They have 3rd party services in Columbia who will hide your identity and domain information for a fee.
while it is absolutely NOT a good idea to click on it, it is certainly a good idea to investigate it.
I don’t have a virtual machine installed on this computer or else I would do it now.
Also- is the phone number a real number?
We need to step up our game investigating what the left is up to. Look how far they’ve gotten.
